Cabinda has been ignored in even the african sphere a lot. So, what are your opinions? Are you informed on the situation in Cabinda and their separatist movement? Do you support them? Do you think Cabinda should gain independence? |

Cabinda is a great province, and I fully support its fight for independence. They support a large portion of Angola's economy (especially when its small size is taken into account) and yet the government of Angola does not help them. The government steals tons of money from Cabinda by taxing its oil. Thus, Cabinda as a whole is very poor. I believe if it were to gain independence, it would become a much better and richer region, and all would benefit. |

Overall I strongly support Cabinda. The Angolan government has done little for it, and Cabinda has suffered despite its innocence. I suggest Goko Cleanser May help. |

gokocleanser:I did not like the fact that the rebel group out there shot at a togolese football ( soccer) team bus heading to an African Cup game in 2010. This act was a terrorist act. The images of that young woman suffering bullet wounds and laying on the floor are hard to forget. Why did you shoot at a foreign team bus ? For publicity ? Did you think about those innocent young people who had nothing to do with your crude oil war ? Second thing : why is FLEC so welcomed in France ? |

You are right but the reason these things happen is almost always desperation. Like you said it was most likely for publicity, if the Cabindan Liberation movement dies the province will be continuously exploited for the oil that really they should be benefiting from since it's part of Cabinda province. I don't really think this is a justification for terror attacks though and there are much better ways now to get publicity. I don't know about France, I doubt anybody in France really cares about Cabinda either. It would make much more sense for them to be in Portugal or the DRC. |
