What are the essence of the unending parades and what value does it add? Seeing the President just standing observing security forces marching. We need to start jettisoning some colonial mentality, country are advancing in their thoughts, an example is the President of Ukraine that stopped the use of his portrait in offices. See Danish and French Presidents riding bicycle in the street of Copenhagen, these are leaders that are departing from useless inherited norms. 12 Likes
