To create a bot, yes details of your platform for trading is needed. for robot, maybe yes, depends on how you want ot to read and collect the input and how to send output. Infact the app you're using is needed.

Well, am sorry if it's confusing. I'm a newbie in forex trading. I subscribe to a paid daily signals service which am getting everyday, the performance of which is impressive. Now, occasionally, some trades will go against you and before you know it, you have lost about 50, 60 or 80 pips. So, to the professionals here, pardon me if I call it bot or robot, but I need one of those to be hedging trades for me once the initial trade signal is not going in the direction I want. I just need a robot /bot that once installed, should be able to detect this and immediately open same trade in the opposite direction. Thanks

I am a forex trader but a interested programming person and it will require a programmer who is a trader to understand what you specifically want,the whole idea of what you want is if the signal is a buy signal for a currency pair but the robot/dot identify that the position is on negative from the entry point to a negative of 20-25pip,the robot/dot should automatically open a opposite position of the initial original buy signal, which is a sell position of the same currency pair to make you be in the trade but in the opposite direction of the original signal provided

What you require to get from a programmer needs a programmer to understand also the MT4 or MT5 platform for forex trader use to trade the forex market,MT4 & MT5 are created using programming language,so they have to know the language use in order to enable them create a robot/dot to specifically meet what you want to achieve

I already have a broker am using which is instaforex but this signals provider always wants people to open an account with their own broker using their own link which is normal anyway. Nope, it's not possible to copy their trades without having to use their affiliate link. The act of giving their link to you to open an account through is actually called IB programme. They get to make money on every position you open on the account. They actually wanted additional earnings to what they already get from providing signal services, so, they decided to make the IB programme a prerequisite to using their signal services because they know their services are excellent and people wouldn't have a choice but use the link. Hence, they make alot of commissions from a pool of their subscribers, which of course you are among.

The language used in the past i think is MQL4, but I think they use a different language now.

The sad truth is that you must invest time and resources if you ever want to achieve that level of prolificity you dream about. You must find a strategy that suits your personality, account size, schedule et al. Visit financial blogs, keep up with trends, find out what other seasoned traders (I recommend forexfactory.com) are doing and adopt their practices, most times whatever you're planning to do has already been done before and thoroughly simplified.
