Today Kenya 40-50Bsmiley dollar economy present it's National Budget of 30.2B dollars budget. KRA will be expected to collect 1.9 trillion(19B dollars) from the puny economy - and with A-I-D(fees,fines, levies, user charges- (3b) - Total revenues of 21B dollars - & grants - adding another 3-4B dollars - and then borrowing of 6B dollars.

Meanwhile Nigeria with a fake 500B dollar economy will present a federal budget of 25B dollars - their highest ever grin grin grin

As always kenya budget will be bigger than EAST Africa combined (Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi)

Private and Public sectors are starting to match the likes of South Africa, Botswana and Namibia in formal sector. Things are looking up.

The money is there, the biggest problem we have is the inequitable distribution of it.From the janitor to the president, everyperson should be paid fairly! Economic growth should also translate to decent wages all over. The president should know that Kenyans want money in their pockets,he needs to stimulate this economy.More and more corruption leads to scarcity of money in the villages!

It's nice seing the biggest government employees in terms of numbers(teachers) being given a 4.7 billion US dollars budget in the sector that employs them!In both the public and private formal sectors, the salaries are decent. We need to do something to uplift our informal sector! Imagine the monies if we formally sold about 60-70% of our milk production? There is so much improvement we can do in each and every sector. We just need the political goodwill and boom we are on to prosperity!

They are talking when their airline long became bankrupt and is now being revived - and but as we know - they cannot hack it.

During the 1990s, the airline's acronym ATC was humorously referred to as "Any Time Cancellation" due to its unpredictable flight schedule

I don't hate Nigeria. I hate it's retrogressive citizens and leadership. I admire countries like Ghana, Rwanda, Botswana, South Africa and Namibia - who are progressing. You can add Kenya & even Ethiopia to that list. You pick any indicator of progress - you see those 5 or so countries always topping it in SSA - they are moving slowly to middle and developed world status. Their citizen are enjoying higher and higher quality of life. The people in those countries are more hopeful and optimistic than ever. They are not capsizing in Mediterranean seas trying to escape their country.

As for Dangote - he clearly has Nigeria in his pocket - and he is just tightening the grip - with oil & fertilizer refinery. The margins he makes from his cement company is crazy. He is obviously part of the Abuja protected businesses that Nigeria have to endure via the so called "Banned Imports". I bet his first business when he get refinery working is to lobby Abuja to ban importation of refined fuels - so he can do what he does - monopolize the market and canabalize the citizens.

I hope one day you get to ride in Dangote jet. It more likely to happen that seeing any of Nigerian big plans in renders off grounds - big dreams - big plans - zero implementation - or at best very very slow implementation.

I mean we have 8B dollar steel mill that has rusted to the ground before it produce 1 billet of steel.

You cannot engage in false hope like Samrobo. You got to face the reality. Your cannot move forward with gov budget that TINY.
You don't hate Nigeria but you resorted to all these circumlocutory jiggery-pokery and a vicious attempt to polish your bloated ego. What a self-indicting admittal of an habitual envy and hate for the Giant of Africa!

Dude! You have the liberty to weep from now till thy kingdom come, it changes nothing.
Incontrovertible fact is that, Kenya can only phantasize about attaining Nigeria's height in the next life.
Label us whatever interests you, it is your headache.
Nigerians citizens are more progressive and intelligent naturally than Kenyans who are delusional.

We have never failed to acknowledge the challenges plaquing country unlike you retrogressive and deluded creatures.
Truly, leadership challenge has always been the bane of our development, however we are making progress and will continue to shape the continent whether Kenya and others accept it or not.

I want to break your heart once again with facts.
Nigeria is not in the same league with your poor country and will never be, not even in the next life. Fact!

Nigeria as one of the leading oil producing countries in the world (Africa's largest and 6th overall) has a towering might that other countries on the continent including your country can only dream about. (Assignment; google Opec's report on the potential impact of Dangote's Refinery on Africa and the world)

Apart from oil, do you know that we have a solid mineral sector with numerous resources spread across our country remaining untapped unlike Kenya, an arid, famine ravished land? (Una too small for Naija I swear)

With over 200million citizens and still growing rapidly, do you know that Nigeria has an advantage in various spheres of human resources that tiny countries like Kenya and co will always envy?

Nigeria military might is ranked 41st & 4th in the world and Afrika respectively.
We have made a significant statement in peace-keeping mission continent wide and regionally. Where is Kenya? grin

Culturally, we are in the league of nations that actively export culture through our music, movies, religion, arts, literature while Kenya deliberately and foolishly ditches her culture for the whiteman's own.(Kenyas, I must break your empty heads and put something by force grin)

On the claim of Dangote's monopoly.
I think it reeks of ignorance to assert that Dangote, the richest black man in the world, has Nigeria in his pocket, beacause old fashioned protectionism is the only way to build Afrika's industries.
A sensible government must protect her local industries, it must grant incentives to push an entrepreneur to risk his capital. Even Donald Trump has adopted a similar stance for American manufacturers. ( Kenyans! Kenyans!! kenyans.....you need to learn very fast from us)

The foregoing rubbishes your puerile ratiocinations that Nigeria is engaging in false hope.

The mere fact that we are on nearly 5000 pages in this Nigeria vs Kenya "fight" is enough evidence that your giant is a big phony.

I mean Algeria, Egypt and South Africa don't need more than 3 pages to TKO kenya.

The fact that you derive pride in accidental natural resources such oil and other minerals clearly demonstrate you're yet to emerge from stone age.

I mean there are things you can take pride in - not oil - not gold - but what have you done with 1 trillion dollars that you have earned from oil.

Your infrastructure deficit is as worse than any country I can think of. You don't enjoy basic 24hrs of electricity. You do not have running water in your taps. You don't have working sewage system in your urban centers. Your road infrastructure is nearly completely broken down.Your social services nearly non-existent. You have largest number of Kids out of school than any country. You lead in open defecation. You lead in malnutrition in the world. You probably lead in number of internally displaced person. Pick any indicator of progress - you're always in bottom 5-10 with Niger, Chad, Burundi, Central Africa and South Sudan. Pick any indicator of regression - you're either top 1 or 2.

And yet you're not war ravaged.

You take pride in mostly infantile stuff like music, fashion and movies - rather than in progress in infrastructure, technology, industrialization, trade and commerce.

You claim to have the richest black man Dangote - one man - while you lead the entire planet in the number of poor people. There are 89M extremely poor Nigerians! They are at least 140m just poor Nigerians.

I don't want to waste more time with someone who already acknowledge NIGERIA IS DOOMED.Actually NigeriaIsDOOMED, despite your endless cyclic rants; you know you're just engaging us in the irrational, infantile and empty headed rants and silly jibes that wont change the fact that Nigeria is now without doubt the world CAPITAL OF POVERTY, DARKNESS,CRIME, GRAFT and is indeed very doomed.

Kenya has it's own issues....so does Ghana...but you'd have to be blind and deaf not see or hear the kind of progress that they are making annually and their relentless push towards progress and development.

Likoni channel leads to Kilindini harbour. That would be dumb move. There is proposal to have cable cars over there.....and we will build another bridge over Nyali.

We are build 250M dollars road to South Coast(Likoni) including 680M & 2KM bridge.

https://www.constructionkenya.com/5372/dongo-kundu-bypass-project/

The 8.96-kilometre dual carriageway project, expected to cost Sh25 billion, will involve construction of an interchange at the Likoni-Lunga Lunga highway and installation of two bridges: one at Mwache – spanning 680 metres, and a second one at Mteza straddling more than two kilometres.

What about the ships that access the Kilindini habour? How will they pass with a bridge under? Even a bascule bridge construction won't make any sense due to the high ship traffic at the Likoni channel

We are constructing a bypass to Likoni and a cable car so as to consolidate the efforts that ferries make in easing the transportation of both persons and goods via the Likoni channel!
