Flashback,

A travel back in not too far recent past when imo victory chapel at the people's house was under construction, which ab initio had a dome like architecture atop the structure, the fourth quarter and fifth columnists went berserk sensationalizing the situation and blew things out of proportion, claiming Rochas is on the quest of islamizing imo state, by erecting a mosque in the state house grin grin grin

The power of the pen, tabloids and new media is stronger than the the deadliest of intercontinental ballistic missiles.

I love the green revolution initiative of ihedioha,
That's a consolidation of what Rochas began,

The centenary city and multiple storey mix use apartments, condos and multiple level underground car park Rochas began, should be completed by ihedioha,

Consolidation and continuity of positivity is the ish.

Agreed. Ihedioha should finish All the projects started by Okorocha as long as it makes developmental and economic sense.

White elephant projects should either be privatized or repurposed.

On to the next,

A 271m litter per annum capacity of modular refinery is gearing up for completion in ibigwe ohaji egbema,

Will serve pms needs of imo and anambra. More jobs,

Unfortunately the refinery isn't for production of PMS but rather AGO, DPK, C5 and HFO but still a welcome development.

Nice, at least other derivatives still makes a lot of sense,

It is time to roll up sleeves and get busy,

So many untapped goldmine waiting to be milked.

This is a different project from the ones planned by Seplat and Shell! If my memory serves me right, theirs are gas-related!

It's this kind of serious, heavy-duty industrialisation i want to see more of in Alaigbo!

Nyem ji nwanne, okwu gi kwu oto,

This brings me to the unappreciated goldmine of akachi tower, the incumbent gotta monetize it,
The buzz, razzmatazz and media frenzy its inconclusive demolition brought about have made it known world over,

It trended all over the newmedia space,
This is actually a plus to its recognition globally, the architecture means different things to different people, to some it exudes somewhat kinda meditaranean/Mesopotamian /Egyptian architecture, to others it's having appendages of an ancient obelisk, found in ancient summeria, Babylonia, Assyria, Syria, Persia, kush, etc
Now unto to the next,
The inscriptions on its circular walls bottom - top portrays a descriptive narrion of the 66 books of the Bible, so that in essence deconstructs the skeptical thoughts of some seeing it as an evil shrine, grin

Some of us equally feel Rochas should have christened it aka-ikenga ,
The incumbent can go shop for technovation investors be they local or global, to come set up close its proximity,
The state is blessed with the likes of Jason njoku, Leo Stan, and other big players in the silicon valley CA, Lagos cyber innovative community etc, open space parks can be built around it also, to fine tune its ambiance, renowned aestheticians can get it done, like amaranth creations

The monument can serve a multipurpose use, religious pilgrimage, tourism, hospitality, etc

Ihedioha gotta swing into action,
He gotta ensure provision of security within the vicinity,
Get the youths engaged to be productive, for a smooth take off of the project, gotta share comic bond of camaraderie and espouse the benefits the host communities would enjoy from the project, the state and the downward spiral of its attendant effects, royalties, job quota, igr, the local content framework,,

The community chiefs and traditional institutions of the host communities gotta be engaged full time,

While community social responsibility of the partners and stakeholders gotta be priotised.

The competiveness is driving the topnochness,
Every competitor wants to outdo his fellow competitor and this keeps the industry on upward growth, the progression is aiming for the stars grin

Morelike hospitality war grin
Nonetheless, the government can fan the embers to get the bubble of the industry more swollen, by seeking to prioritize the tremendous contributions of the hoteliers, by reducing the multiple taxations, increasing more quotas of their electric supply/reducing their electricity bills, more security, water supply and the biggest boost - accessible roads.

The statue is useless when we consider that 98% of the roads in Owerri are in shambles. IMSU and IMSUTH are mere poultry farms. We are not talking about the shambolic condition of the rest of the state.

Billions spent on this useless monument and other statues could have fixed some roads in Owerri. Till date, Imo state is yet to have a single flyover, the money wasted on this could have gone a long way in getting the state a flyover.

Abogwara, come lets continue our discussion

My people, commercial motorcyclists remain banned in Owerri municipal.

Kindly disregard any statement from the randy BOT saying that the ban has been lifted...it's, in the words of Donald Trump, fake news.

Commercial motorcyclists also take their passengers to inner streets but NEVER ply major roads.

Thank you

Ifeanyi, i am not saying it just by word of mouth but i am showing pictures of what i just saw in Owerri. I don't know about lifting of Okada ban, what i know is that Okada is now everywhere in Owerri. This is a fact not hearsay.

See these pictures, it is one of those junctions that leads into New Owerri area just adjacent to Owerri culvert tunnel. Ask anyone in Owerri now to confirm what am saying. You can even see those Imo taxi colors around those okada riders.

You can't even drive your car into world bank area of Owerri except you are using okada.

Thank you for at least being sincere that Okada is now back in Owerri town.
