A new mother has died shortly after giving birth to her second set of triplets.

Mrs Chinyere Amadi and Mr Emmauel Amadi welcomed a set of triplets on June 12, Democracy day. This is the second time the couple are welcoming a set of triplets. The first set were born six years ago.

Sadly, shortly after the birth of the children in Elele Alimini, Emolga, Rivers State, Mrs Chinyere passed on.

I can't imagine that someone would be advocating for traditional method in this age when we have qualified medical personnel around. Little wonder why Nigeria has the highest Mother-to-Child transmission of HIV in the world. undecided
