You have got to travel so that you will get to know that the world is bigger than your village river.
No university in South-South can be compared to ABU Zaria and Bayero university Kano.
We have exceptional and globally recognized intellectuals from Northern Nigeria.
For instance, no Biochemistry professor in the entire south is as good as Prof. Andrew Jonathan Nok of blessed memory. He was an indigene of Kaduna state.
LOL. I'm pretty sure u are a decendant of LIE LIE Muhamed.

There's no difference between you and a Hausa or Fulani.

A vast majority may be.uneducated does not mean they are stupid, daft or useless.

The British used to laugh at the Irish but now the Irish republic is at least 20% richer than Britain based on per capita income.
.
In Belgium, the Walloons used to be much richer than the Fleming's but now they are at par

You never know, tomorrow the Gucci shoes may be on the other feet

Your comment shows how uneducated and unexposed you are.

You comment shows the kind of education you must have received and from where.

Mr. or Mallam Smart from Northern Nigeria University; you should be so educated enough I assume to know that using the "Mumu" word on a Nairalander is neither Civil nor allowed on this forum.

You may just have earned your brilliant self a ban.

A well bread graduate like you should know this na!
Why you dey fall hand na2?

I have been to almost all the federal universities in Nigeria due to the nature of my Job.
No school in the South can be compared in standard ,transparency, equipment, infrastructure and qualitative education compared to BUK or ABU. In fact I prefer BUK to ABU.
Pls before u criticize, make a very good research about the school. I would have said same as u were saying if I haven't been there.
In the South South, Uniport is the worst followed by NDU.
In the West OAU and OOU. Get there u would be disappointed. Forget their media packaging.
In the East, Unizik is useless.
Mind u... I studied in the South.

Since you talked of "civility" i will be lenient with you and try to educate you a little. I have three stories to tell you:

Story 1. When OBJ introduced Umoru Yar'Adua to the PDP as a Potential Presidential Candidate, the Nigerian Yoruba press screamed "we don't know him" when he now addressed them and told them its a shame that the Nigerian press openly admitted that they do not know a Governor from Katsina, that has been Gov for the past 8 years, that was when it dawned on them how stupid and unexposed they were.

Story 2: There was a this beer parlour discussion in Eastern Nigeria about a meeting of Nigerian leaders in London and how Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa drank 37 cups of tea until Ojukwu winked at him that he needed to place the cup upside down with the open end facing down to signify that he had had enough, and a gentleman now educated them that that was just a story with no evidence or facts or collaboration anywhere else. Also, Balewa is a "SIR" a Knight of the British empire well grounded on the ways and mannerisms of a SIR unlike Ojukwu, but, these are stories easterners like to tell themselves and claim superiority over.

Story 3: Sorry im busy now gotta go, however its "bred" not bread.

Thank you, and understand that a first class from BUK is as good as anywhere else

But i hope you've been to OAU to have said this. If yes, then cool.

While I've heard of story 2, and haven't paid so much attention to it, I thought I should call you out when you tried to compare Balewa to Ojukwu.
It is true that Balewa is a Sir, well grounded, knighted and all that. But what does "unlike Ojukwu" mean?

Let's forget about the war, but if there was anyone who had to be more grounded in British style and mannerisms in the 60s, then it had to be Ojukwu. Nigga left the shores of Nigeria for Britain as early as JS2, and continued secondary education, University and Masters there.

I don't like attaching myself to the the kind of post you made because it says a lot about a person. But I really needed to call you out. If you don't know, make your research.

You’re wrong mister. Next time argue with facts or what you know and not what you “think” I schooled in the USA and I live in the USA currently, I am as Nigerian as they come, now go research sirs and understand what the specific requirements are. Also, FYI, there are lots of northern Nigerian blue bloods that are growing up or grew up in Buckingham palace. Alhaji Abubakar Alhaji is a case in point. Finally, go back and look at the genesis the post!

What are you talking about?
What facts? The fact that Ojukwu left for Europe as a teenager or what?

What exactly are you saying?

No, facts that you schooled somewhere doesn't mean you are ingrained in the culture or etiquettes of the royals of the place you schooled. If for example you school in Uniben and live in Benin City, you will know nothing about the bini culture or the Benin kingdom, however, if you are made a chief in the Benin/Edo palace, you will be schooled on these things. However, if you know anything about "History" you should have corrected me that Ojukwu and Tafawa Balewa were not even contemporaries in any way shape or from. I'd actually meant Nnamdi Azikiwe that studied in the USA.
