I don’t have to tag the DealHunter’s right here on nairaland that sold bad deals to me and have been paying and refunding buyers despite the fact I have not gotten a dime from them. 3 locked x, an iPhone X 64gb came in instead of a 256gb etc. I paid in 100k on Monday immediately some part of my items were cleared from redstar. So bilko wait for the balance.

I asked you for a refund since 29th of May,I didn't get anything from you till 10th of June that you sent 100k.You kept giving various excuses,you even offered me an iphone Xs max that I should balance you which I agreed to when my money wasn't first coming and you came up with another story that you couldn't get it cleared the day you promised to give me.I have had enough of this lies.Please pay the 110k balance left.

I believe all these super story and stories that touch the heart can be curb when RULES are defined and adhered to. Dragnet , pickers and a few Deal-hunters who are worth their mettle should create a group of discuss, create house rules that’ll limit scams portraying as deal hunters .

More so in the occasions of Naija deals I’ll advice ESCROW is involved when doing deals. At least it’s better making happy deals by insuring yourself with a token than ending up with stories

That escrow thing won't work for all deal hunters, not all deal hunters have money to pay for items, they just use buyers money to buy, while some have money but can't wait for items to land before selling at a TLC price(I mean what's the essence of selling an on-ground iPhone x for 190k), I still feel selling links is the best.

I have been thinking about this lately. Actually I think some names has to be stamped red. I believe there should be rules as then there would be sanity. Imagine Perez sold an iPhone 7plus iCloud locked phone to me. The guy has been running up and down. Infact it has gotten worse that he blocked me on WhatsApp and still went far to use Truecaller to block me from reaching him all because of 105k. I believe if there is a law and rules we all have to play along with, there would be some sanity.

I believe ESROW would be the only way to go. We as Konga & Jumia vendor usually behave as we like until when they introduce ESCROW. You don’t get paid until 7 days when customer don’t complain about item.
