Some group of deadly kidnappers has been reported to have operated along Owo/Benin yesterday afternoon as they attacked an ambulance belonging to Ondo state lassa fever program as one policeman was shot dead, another one wounded, while a doctor & driver attached to the convoy have been kidnapped. Gistvic Reports.

Akure/Owo/Benin/Akoko expressways as been known to be a den of kidnappers as people and passengers are been terrorized.

I'm told the only major road in Ondo-State without kidnapping (yet) is Akure - Ondo - Ore road.

Most surviving victims insist their kidnappers are northerners & spoke 'Hausa'. I suspect local perpetrators are involved too.

All over the State, travellers face serious risk of kidnap, but most people just don't know or are so confused and helpless, they hope it'll all go away quietly. But it is only getting worse.
