Fani-Kayode Cautions Ohaneze: You Can’t Blame Only North For The Woes In Nigeria by sarrki(op): 2:19pm On Jun 15, 2019
"There is no future for Nigeria: northerners are unreasonable and unrealistic"- Ohanaeze Ndigbo.

I am amongst the strongest critics of northern hegemony and domination and nothing is happening today that I did not say would happen if Buhari was elected President both in 2015 and 2019.

Yet the truth is that we cannot blame everything on the north because southern leaders are their own worse enemies. We are weak, divided, petty, ignorant, gullible, naive, petty and cowardly.

Worse of all we behave like crabs in a basket: always pulling one another down and always attempting to eclipse and destroy our own brightest stars.

Northern hegemony and northern domination is manifest in every sphere and sector of the Nigerian space only because the ever-grovelling, ever-slavish, ever-quivering, ever-quarreling and ever-snivelling southern leaders, who are so comfortable with betraying and abandoning their own mid-stream, gladly allow it.

If we want things to change the first thing that we need to do is to accept the fact that southern unity, southern commanality of purpose, southern fraternity, southern co-operation and southern cohesion and understanding are fundamental pre-requisites to southern emancipation.

The secret to the remarkabke success of the north is their wholehearted appreciation of the power of unity and the importance of furthering their collective interest regardless of political party affiliation.

This is something that the south appears to be simply incapable of appreciating, achieving or enjoying. We are our own worse enemies.

It's strange how Ohaneze think with their anus.

Imagine the fact that southerner and Christian was president for about 14years of 20 years of this political dispensation. Ask Ohaneze what the South gained compare to what she is gaining now. Maybe numerous national award with expansive decay of infrastructure.

Under Christian president Sharia was introduced, Boko Haram surfaced bombing Churches almost every Sunday and Eve of Xmas and new year.

Churches were closed down in the name of noise pollution and mosque were spared

In fact Ohaneze should stop their nonsense. Was Atiku a southerner that they supported him in last election?

How many of them voted for Ojukwu or his apga?

Nothing to add. FFK has stated it the Way it is.
Problem is, there seems to be no solution in sight.

Apart from during military regime that north used their military strength to dominate south, since democracy began I have not noticed any issues of such. We need to understand that democracy is a game of numbers so we need to have negotiation skills and play our cards with wisdom and not with emotion.

where was nadeco wen ojukwu went to aburi to get restructuring?

Where u yoruba moslems not singing gowon's praise wen he abondoned the aburi accord?

All sw had to do was vote gej in for a 2nd term and get a bettet deal from him...knowing that we are all southerners....sw said no...nw the north knows they can keep power indefinitely by aligning with the different southern zones when it suits them.

South is screwed

“There is no future for Nigeria...” - Ohanaeze.

This Ohanaeze is gradually coming back to their senses. I hope they soon apologize to IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu and then fully join our quest for the restoration of our great Republic of Biafra. Anyone who sees a future for Nigeria, probably can’t see beyond his/her nose.
#Fact!

The dumb ass Ojukwu was part of the government that did away with our federal constitution. Why did he need to go to Aburi to get what he freely gave away. Did he advise Ironsi not to abolish the federal constitution, no?

mumu...am sure u knw this lies have been bursted over here.

1st ironsi never changed the regional arrangement. When ironsi died, there was still 4 regions. What he did was bring decree 34 which allowed him to apoint and sack regional governors. Gowon changed the regions while obj changed the federal constitution in 1979. Poor student of history.

2nd u now know that igbos were first to demand restructure...but u are saying we have no moral right to demand it because allegedly ojukwu was part of govt.

3rdly keep thinking its all about igbos. Dont realise wat is going on in the country and how northerners are like a parasite perching on the south and drinking its blood because of highly divisive and unreasonable elements like u

You know nothing..the same NADECO, which had some Yoruba leaders, that betrayed Abiola ? You wonder why Abiola's son said u people ate his father's meat?
If you guys could sell out your own, I wonder who's safe?.

Fani Kayode I beg to differ!!!

Looking at the voting pattern, the South East voted massively for the candidate (Atiku\Obi) of their choice!!!

South South despite Amaechi heavy influence still delivered!!!

Southwest despite Tinubu's influence and power surprisingly and unexpectedly also voted massively for PDP

Even Abuja, where the incumbent president resides voted overwhelmingly for PDP!!!

So no tribe is to be blamed but corruption deeply rooted in our institution and government!!!

INEC is a clear example, in order to cover up claims it has no server!!! shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked

In summary, the truth is that APC had since it inception into power in 2015 had perfected thus rigging even though they left loop holes everywhere!!!

I know the likes of Gbenga, some key players in Osun might have betrayed you guys but the hand writing on the wall showed that Nigerians believed more in PDP but APC using the INEC and the Judiciary silence the voice and the will of the people!!!
