I have a question oh. What are the chances that the Score will remain at 460 and what are the chances of changing to a lower or higher figure? I would love to see the trend and history of cut off marks if I can analyze and predict future cut offs. Anybody please assist.

Please, do you have a CIC reference for this assertion? It will benefit me.

It’s just logical that if you haven’t gone back to the country, the PCC should stay valid.

Hmmm. It's like my ancestors want me to remain team 9ja.
Got fed up with this country and my quest to get out with my wife and kid was born, did a little research and found Canada to be the dream place, and I also found this thread, asked questions and was given answers but when I discovered what it will take me as a pharmacist and the numerous exams, I threw in the towel even before I started.

You don’t need the money to start the journey, what you need is the will and self motivation, and everything else will start falling into right places.

hi I'm new on nairaland and still trying to learn how to use it, but anyway to answer your question, I just got my IELTS results on June 14th, (2nd attempt/IDP my first attempt was BC) overall score was 8.5, my CRS is 471 but I'm still waiting for WES due by 21st of this month then my journey begins (fingers crossed) I think you should consider writing IELTS again

my scores were LSRW - 8/8.5/9/8

my result was a miracle because I was so sure I answered the wrong thing in my writing part 2 but God is AMAZING!!!

You're quite right but he does really need 'the money' in this journey. Especially as a pharmacist that he is, getting to know that evaluating his degree alone with PEBC would cost between 450-500k can be so discouraging. But with the 'will and self motivation', he won't give up this easy.
My advice: It's important he keeps his family size at 3 (to save himself some money) and start with the evaluation. Keep faith with this thread and take other processes one step at a time.

Just keep the hope alive sister and while you are at it, quickly register for your M.sc and study well for your BCS.

Keep your mind off what will or will not happen, be positive and all will work together for your good.

Yes imagine having 483 as your CRS ehnnn. It’s a job weldone

I don't think BCS will increase my point when I already have Masters degree. I think all these exams are for someone with either Bsc or ND to upgrade to 2 or more certificates. Msc is already bigger than 2 or more certificates. No point registering for BCS or other diplomas. Am I making sense?

My e-family, please help me look into this. I want to be sure I'm saying the right thing or with my Masters, can I still enrol for BCS?

Congratulations!!!

I am the principal applicant and currently getting my documents for submission as am sure of ita in the next draw with 475. Creating my profile tomorrow with Eca report that will arrive same day. My question on proof of funds is this, we have fixed deposit in joint account and pension letter as buffer. Does hubby need to attach statement of account showing salary deposit to explain source of funds ?

Does he need work reference letter to show the years he has worked to prove it's our money?

Sounds defeatist.

No doubts, money is seriously involved.

I read about a similar case on a different forum. This is what the applicant did.
Send them an email asking for the pay-slips and let them respond via email saying no. Print out the email thread and attach it to your LOE.
If you have bank statements, print them and highlight the deposits. It would be best to use a different highlighter for each company/employer (this can be done online).
You won't/should not be rejected for this. The applicant in this example was approved.
Good luck!

johnnybravo1990:
Advice!

For my ADR, two out of three previous employers have refused to give me pay slips. They said they don’t give. What do you think will be a satisfactory LOE? Can I just say, ‘when I worked in - - -, I wasn’t given pay slips, and present attempts to get pay slips were futile as pay slips were said to be unavailable’? I have all my bank statements ADR for all 3 employers. Can my application be rejected for this?

He doesn't need a work reference letter unless you mention his job in your EE profile pre ITA - and it is not necessary to mention the job because there are no additional points for this (except his job was in Canada). You can put his work experience in personal history post ITA.

If it makes you sleep better, you can show statement of accounts. Others have done just fixed deposit.

Download the app called CanPR, you will see the history you seek there. I believe it will drop but at the same time if you still have the means to increase your score, then work on it

If your wife is not a pharmacist by profession, educated with a masters or two or more certificates which comes in form of (ND&HND, Nd&Bsc, HND& Bsc and if it’s just Bsc she has, there are quick courses she can do to get two or more certificates, courses like CIMA and BCS or even a PGD from noun if you are willing to wait a bit) and some work experience, then she can be the primary applicant. You don’t necessarily have to be the primary applicant. I would advice you explore that route instead of just giving up.

Kindly add me to CIMA group.

However with this CIMA course, about how many points will I get to my 425
Use the CRS calculator to get that, instead of bachelors, use two or more certificates, that way you will see the additional points.

Hi melochic, congratulations once again on your PPR. I am also in the legal profession and I'm curious to know why the interview.

Could you please answer some questions for me,;
Are you currently self-employed? If not, then do you know why you were asked to bring those documents to the interview?

Thank you!
