A lot of people call God different name and they believe those names to be the real name of God the Father. They on the other hand believe the names others call God aren't his name.

The question is what is a name?

A name is simply an identification tag. The caller can change it at anytime to suit his purpose and the called can also change it at anytime to suit his purpose.

Men who have had encounter with God at different points in their lives had tagged one name or the other to Him. He himself had picked more than one for Himself for different occasions.

What name did Jesus call God?

Jesus called God my Father. So God has no name other than that which we give him. The more value you attach to that which you call God, the more valuable He is to you and vis a vis.

God's name is the name humans or past beings give to it. For example, some past beings like Yahweh, Allah, Atum, Odin, Olorun etc have called God Almighty by the name Mirosh in the Seriot Language.
