KANO, NIGERIA - In more recent developments, news reaching newsjunk has is that the gorilla kept in the kano zoo has vehemently denied claims of swallowing Seven million naira (₦7,000,000). According to reports reaching us at Newsjunk HQ, the gorilla admitted to taking the money but claims that the money is nowhere near the amount being reported in the media. The Kano state police command have confirmed the Gorilla's denial through their PRO who told us this: "when we bring our animal interpreter come, he ask the the gorilla say na true u swallow 7m and the two of them they talk.
