What about the dollars he collected from GEJ in 2011?
Bobby4090:
Tenure ended in 2007 yet remained in the sidelines perpetually when he has all the opportunities to be greedy like his other ex governors who have made the senate and federal cabinet positions their permanent home.
Character cannot be hidden. Please try another lie if it will fly. This one by haters like you is D.O. A. (Dead On Arrival)

Obviously something is not adding up in Kola's accusations.if tinubu was looking for the position of deputy administrator in Lagos as alleged by kola and he was denied.is there any other deputy administrator appointed in Lagos or any part of Nigeria?

The wife is not him. A greedy man wont be satisfied with that because he would command more respect and loyalty in the senate himself than the wife would do. I am an unpaid protector of the truth. Quite allergic to haters like you.

Tinubu Oko iyawon

Making red muders uncomfortable since time immemorial.

A day without mentioning him , is a day that never existed in their calendars
Pardon me, but i really don't understand.. What is the correlation between the narrative coming from MKO's son against Tinubu and red mudders again?. The author is even from the west and the lead person who even countered MKO Abiola's son assertions is from the east.. So pls guide me, what is your point or what do u intend to gain with this misguided statement cos i find it absolutely nauseating when people heat up ethnic sentiments for absolutely no reason.. Don't we southerners ever get tired of been phonny and ...... in the face of pressing issues challenging and even threatenig us.?

Not the Tinubu i know. If he had that character he would have been exhibiting for all to see. After all, he left power since 1999 as governor. If he was the type that needed official positions to be "relevant" he would have been in senate perpetually, or being a powerful minister. Something doesn't add up here please.
Oga relax, who give am Senate position to stay perpetually? Who go give am powerful minister perpetually? Who has been a perpetual minister since 1999? Chill, he can't hold any position for long under the military because the supreme leader removes whoever he wants, any time he wants.

He left power in 2007 n not 1999, he perpetuated himself in power by putting a choke hold on Lagos ever since den, that shows he has extreme lust for power, he wants to remain relevant at all costs. I believe he would still be doing same during the military regime, that's what he's known for. A very greedy, selfish n self centred man

How many are in Osogbo? If you answer this, then you would know the answer to your stoopid question.
At least around 20-25% of non-indigenes of Yoruba Lands (excluding Lagos) are Igbo. Afterwards, una go dey claim "Igbos are well travelled blah, blah" Rubbish! That jungle must be really hard and tough for una to survive that's why y'all just seem to run away. Simple!

It's OK... at least there's a reason Africans and other poor nationals run away to Europe, U.S, Canada, Australia etc... grin grin
It ONLY shows the level of progress and civilization that we've achieved within the Yoruba lands. Our economic resources are able to comfortably accommodate you Savages that you guys even make a living. Now how many Yorubas are based in that jungle? <1% of course. cool

U are not even ashamed that 25% of yoruba land population are IGBO grin grin. Meanwhile the IGBO population in Lagos is 50%, thank God u didn't try to say it's 25%

""It ONLY shows the level of progress and civilization that we've achieved within the Yoruba lands""

This is as senseless as it gets. Ojukwu who was the son of the richest man in Nigeria was born in Niger state, does that mean Niger state is developed like Europe cheesy cheesy. Pls respect urself.

IGBOS Are found in good numbers in every single state on Nigeria and in every single country in every continent of the world. Travelling n settling in foreign land is just our way of life, stop trying to die because IGBOS are in the SW.

It shows we're very accommodating and your leaders are the Savages. It also depicts the hardship being faced by you Savages. The whole of Yoruba-Lands including Lagos. Well, I forgot, you're an okoro and, can't comprehend simple grammar. grin

This is what you Savages have been consoling yourselves with! Rubbish! You ONLY run away from your own father's land when it's NOT habitable and under-developed like the way Africans and other 3rd worlds run to Europe and the U.S grin Backward bunch of Cannibals! cool

Tinubu contributed financially to the democratic movement then. But its also possible he sought a post from Abacha. Like Kola said.
How did Tinubu have then that made you think he bankrolled the Democratic movement then. He was just a typical political hustler then. Even Adeniji-Adele that is mentioned wasn't that financially buoyant that time. He was at a time a Lagos Island LG chairman. He used to come to a club house on my street on Lagos Island. Though a very nice and personable individual that is well liked. He had name and not like Tinubu that emerged from nowhere.

I believed Kola Abiola story. Its not "dem say". He was an insider and was well aware of what transpired.

Tinubu was poor then. And like u said, even Adeniji Adele was more popular than him

Oh, Tinubu was poor then yet he won won a senatorial election in Lagos. Very funny. And mind you, by the time the June 12 election was cancelled he had already spent two years as a senator...additional income.

At no point in time can one who is not (at minimum) a millionaire or multi millionaire successfully run and capture a senatorial seat in any state in Nigeria, not to talk of Lagos.

clip:
Tinubu is a hero on June 12

1. During the dedication made by Chief MKO Abiola as Legitimate President (Epe declaration) Tinubu was there
2. Formation and financing of Radio Kudirat
3 Planning and excuting of NADECO members escaping out of the country
4 Celebrating and declaring June 12 public holiday throughout his stay as Governor of the State
5 Lobbing the President to give official recognition to June 12
6. MKO gardens and ways he has immortalized MKO.

You can add other Tinubu's contribution

How can a Senator want to a commissioner or deputy administrator? Kola Abiola, I don't think you're telling us the truth
We are not all fools. It's more financially and politically rewarding to be commissioner or deputy commissioner of Lagos than been a senator in abacha's government.
