They are trying to reduce the southerners in the military it's part of the game.

Most of the soldiers dying are from the south. Look at your location(if u are in the south) how many southern soldiers do u see? Can u compare them to the amount of northern soldiers littered all around the whole south? And the worse part is that those southern soldiers are educated.

The NA are so lily hearted that they abandon their weapons and run when they sight BH. What happened to standing your ground? U have more weapons than they do, have more training than them yet u can't make dem become scared of thinking attack on a FOB. The worst part is that they leave the APCs and weapons behind. Why not station someone whose job it will be to destroy the weapons when retreating? Such an unprofessional army.

At least five soldiers were killed on Monday evening when Boko Haram terrorists attacked a military base in Monguno, Borno state.

The attack which follows a series of attack in Borno State since June 12 happened at about 6 pm on Monday.

Military sources told SaharaReporters the insurgents stormed the Base with about 30 utility vehicles, heavily armed and operated unhindered before reinforcement arrived.

Before they were engaged by Nigerian military reinforcements, the terrorists carted away arms and ammunition while setting the base ablaze.

A military source who confirmed the torching of the Base said, "5 dead bodies of soldiers have been seen this morning and unverified number of soldiers are wounded, the military base was partially torch while arms and ammunition were carted away by the terrorists group.

"They also stole an ambulance and foodstuff meant for troops," he concluded.
