I'm not from Ebonyi. I'm from Anambra state
My Governor is an epic failure..
Armon:
I cant mediate these wars any longer ....before it was Anambra and Enugu now is Ebonyi, so delta, rivers, Imo, Abia should brace themselves......

I see no gain in all these wars.....every one should be open to reasonable criticisms be it Anambra or Ebonyi.

So I will only observe.

Some non Igbos are using various monikas to try and derail this thread into a fight between Anambra and Ebonyi

I don't think this people realise that Igbos are more united now than ever and trying to cause division in the Igbo nation is much harder now than before.

Millennium City Is Coming As Anambra State Government Signs MOU With M-P Infrastructure For Development Of The Estate

By Uche Nworah

Anambra State Government today, Tuesday, 18th June, 2019 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with M-P Infrastructure Ltd for the development of a brand new eco-friendly city, Awka Millennium City.

The project is the development of a 100 -acre estate (to be known as Awka Millennium City), to be located at Three -Arms Zone, Awka. The $46.5M project will be completed within 30 months beginning with the first phase involving 25 acres which will be ready in 18 months.

The Group MD/CEO of M-P Infrastructure Ltd, Dr. Clem Nwogbo signed on behalf of the company and said that Governor Willie Obiano’s ‘Aku Luo Uno’ call made him to bring his investments home coupled with the stable and secure environment in the state. He thanked Mr Jide Ikeakor, Managing Director of Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA) and his team for working hard to ensure that the deal happened.

Governor Willie Obiano signed on behalf of the state government and charged the company to pursue the project with the same vigour they applied in their Lynden Integrated Farms project, at Igbariam.

I'm from Anambra South, Obiano has failed the Anambra North.
He is so vision less!
Look at strong infrastructure umahi is giving his people.
He wants to change story of Ebonyi by all means.
Our governor is drinking his sense away.
He promised fly over at Regina, where is it?
If I become governor tomorrow, I swear I will remove that wall of Jericho out from our road!
That man is crude and backward!
Look at what Umahi is bringing to Abakiliki, why can Obiano give us World class fly over?
Dualize roads?
He is gradually reducing the electoral value of APGA!
I sincerely wouldn't want other party in my state, especially PDP and APC, but I'm disgusted that APGA led government is giving PDP chance to come back!

God will punish Obiano generation if this happens!

I campaigned for him,but thunder go fire him.
Obiano failed massively in Anambra south... Anambra north gained massively from Obiano.
Dats my grouse with him

You sure this is recent and not one of the raft of MOUs signed soon after starting his first term in office? Is that cost of $46.5 million a typo' error?

News of signing of MOUs don't excite me any more!

Breaking news...

Henceforth, only market unions are charged with the responsibility of collecting revenues for the state in their respective markets, no more contractors or agents!

This was part of the message delivered to the traders by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu on behalf of Governor Willie Obiano at a meeting held at the SSG's Conference Hall, Awka.

Prof. Chukwulobelu and other members of the exco committee on IGR called for the meeting to fine-tune the revenue collection and remittance method for the markets.

Furthermore, the meeting agreed that authority papers shall be written and addressed to the Chairman and Secretary of each market union and given to them within the week.

This method was adopted in view of the "flying" fake authority papers and other impersonators of revenue agents in the state who master the art of extorting money from innocent citizens.

The meeting had in attendance the Commissioner for Commerce, Dr. Christian Madubuko, Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Uchenna Okafor Wiper, Dr. David Nzekwu (Chairman/CEO, Anmbra Internal Revenue Service), Engr. Okey Anyanyo (SSA on IGR) and others.

Ndi Anambra, by the decisions reached from the meeting, it is safe to conclude that orderliness has returned in the revenue collection in our markets.
