Merry Men 1 was very mediocre despite all the hype. Now they want me to use my money to go to cinema to watch another bad movie? Hell no, i rather subscribe to Netflix. We need to start sabotaging trashy movies else these producers, directors will not have sense and will still keep dishing us trash.

Hmmm...... so there was a Merry Men 1..... and somebody had the guts to go watch it. Thanks for the feedback on how you sooooo much enjoyed it.... blockbuster indeed.

Nigerian movie producers should stop this sequel nonsense. It's not compulsory, and it's certainly not working. Not anymore.

Once upon a time, we looked forward to sequels of Nigerian movies, and the wait was always worth it... Newer, fresher ideas... More twists in the plot... Etc..

I gladly remember flicks like: Rattlesnake; Glamour Girls; Nneka The Pretty Serpent; Aje ni yami; Osuofia, etc... Their sequels were more robust, intriguing, and had thicker plots.

God will continue to bless Amaka Igwe (blessed memory), Chico and Zeb Ejiro, Collins Nnebue, etc...

Nigerian Movie makers of today have a long way to go...
