The color is too shouty. Though, it's good but I don't expect this from a state governor. I expect this from an LGA chairman if we're telling ourselves the truth.
Amaniro, I won't lie to you, attitudes like this is why your home state of Abia is cursed with eternal backwardness. In your state, your Governor shares kerosene for your father to drink as pension and you are jumping about like a demented frog, criticising the colour of schools in other states!

You eternal hypocrite, if you had a shred of sense, you'll have known that schools are painted in bright colours to awaken the senses of kids and open their minds to learning. You don't know this because you have mediocre leaders with no plan for the development of your people.

Ikpeazu didn't build schools for you, that's why you don't know the colour of schools.

Since you have a PhD in public administration, mention one state in Nigeria where the LG Chairmen are doing something like this and draw its graph against that of Ondo State. (100marks)

We should move ahead from this old school buildings, what's stopping us from getting a standard and well-equipped schools like what is got elsewhere, all over the world.

Gratification of mediocre! if I were the Governor, I would do it in such a way that my kids would be proud to call themselves pupils there. Shameless lots, renovating poultries up and down and calling it standard.

Nigeria standard should be among the best in the world, let's stop praising these folks who keep playing on our general intelligence, we deserved the best, our children deserved the best.

They are not treating us well in that country, go and look at pubic schools in south Africa and other developed world, we should be seen as pride of Africa, build ancient bizarre looking structure without interlock and cemented ground, I pray These leaders see beyond their selfishness and turn Nigeria to dubia, very simple thing to do, China did it, Singapore did it, Malaysia, Thailand is fast growing, war torn Vietnam is build a city.. Rwanda is building.... I just can’t comprehend these leaders, their kids enjoying here in London, when building that thrash there.

Bros we naa huh about 700 schools renovated and you still find a means to criticize it. shocked
Forget propaganda sir, is there a verifiable fact to support the 700 claims? This is Nigeria. Besides, it's our duty to critique our government performance, to me this Nigeria standard of a thing is so annoying, we shouldn't relegate ourselves to the backward nation tag, those schools up there are not conducive to learning.

Let's stop celebrating mediocrity, there is nothing stopping us from having structures seen in developed world and other developing countries like us, until then, these folks will continue treating us like shit. We deserved the best.

Mofo o!!!, I was expecting to see pictures of newly upgraded mega schools but instead I can only see a model mimiko rejected and built mega school to replace them, if you are living in Ondo you would know that this man did not do anything to improve education in Ondo state, mega schools which mimiko built suppers what I see up there, Akeredolu has nothing to offer

what I expected him to have done is to focus on employing more qualified teachers, forces on paying their salaries, design a new curriculum for primary education, introduce ict to the schools, upgraded half or quarter of that 700 schools to mega school like the past administration did, introduce free primary school education no school feesfees except the necessary payments, maintain the free shuttle for school introduced by the former, strengthen PTA and make sure that by the time this pupils leave primary school they are well vast in computer basics but instead in but kpangolo medel school used since when my great grand father was I primary school so disappointed in this man and the people that would come here to hail him

I don't even blame him instead I blame mimiko the former governor did almost everything right except not paying workers which marked his down fall if not this white Baird man won't smell the governors seat

I must commend the quality of the structure, however State schools need a plan and structure to finance school renovation every term end before the degeneration becomes overwhelming
there is already laid out plan but the dumb dumb didn't follow it

I am really pissed at the op and the governor for taking the state back

Shut up man! How close are the mega schools to the pupils? How many pupils have access to these schools. So because there's a plan for mega schools, the pre-existing public schools should be abandoned to rot away? While Mimiko was building these mega schools, did he pay the salaries of the teachers ?

you are the one who should keep your trash mouth shut, you are asking me how close where the mega schools, he didn't move the schools rather he destroyed the old ones and built on the lands that was what he did, why can't these Yankee based came back home Governor use same model and make sure it is available everywhere, the last administration was unable to makes the schools available to each communities but he made it available in every local govts, why can't the governed build on that even if he has to change the colour and write akeredolu boldly on the walls and if he could use such model and make sure it works only a mad man would say he did not try

moreover you don't have to insult just me to drive a point let's argue it out

Akeredolu is really trying in promoting himself for a second term. Even after the OP is paid, he still has no better and eyes popping projects fake or imaginary to upload lol. What a failed leader. Him and Fayemi made me hate since well lettered people governing states.

I know about Ondo, I have a relative whos very close to the SSG and two commissioners. We know the ineptitudeness of the Gov... Failed leader... He's second to Buhari in terms of poor leadership and development

So while Mimiko was building these Mega schools, he couldn't renovate the pre-existing public schools for the pupils who doesn't have access to the Mega Schools? What happened to paying salaries of the school teachers? Did Mimiko pay their salaries ?

In case you don't know, Governor Akeredolu has cleared all the arrears owed by the Mimiko-led administration, paying salaries as and when due while renovating these public schools. You could have praised your Mimiko and move on.

The government also constructed toilet facilities in about 300 of the primary schools that have been renovated.

Modified: Some people are shouting that, why didn't he build Mega schools like the previous administration in the state, When Mimiko was building the mega schools, did he pay the salaries of the school teachers? If you build ultra-modern buildings and not pay the salaries of the workers, what's the importance? Will the teachers be motivated to give quality education? Governor Akeredolu came on board and cleared all the arrears owed by the previous administration while paying workers as and when due. How many pupils have access to these mega schools in the first place ?
he for build school without toilet na rada rada, anyway I will commend him only for this toilet it is nice only mimiko and akere did a good job with toilets but still akeredolu built 24th century schools not not those old models abah,

the person wey vex me pays na Agagu rip that man will just build schools like these ones akeredolu build but if you check the schools well na short put dem dey do including teachers even the ones with toilets can't be called toilets but something else
