This is a sure formation to lose. A 3 - man defense will be fruitful if Argentina has good defenders. The best defender they have by Argentina's standard is Otamendi, one we well know as a poor defender by world standard. Moreover, he's short for a 3-man defense. Personally I think the best will be 4-4-2 with aguero and dybala playing upfront. Messi should play as an attacking player in a diamond-shaped midfield position inorder to dictate the play, style, pass and support aguero and dybala as strikers

I didn't want to reply u but it would seem that u have made a lot of sense. In terms of team contribution, Messi flaws Ronaldo on that basis. How do u explain someone contribution to a team? Is it by having trophies? Hell no! If u takeaway the impact of messi from Argentina, they wouldn't have even qualified for three worldcups and copa America...it's a fact everyone knows. Now, the same cannot be said for Ronaldo as can be seen in euro16... Portugal played exceptional well without him on the pitch. I can't seem to understand the logic u people put up everytime about winning national trophies. If it's about number of trophies won, Ronaldo and messi wont even be in the argument. Honestly, if we are sincere to ourselves Ronaldo is simply an excellent player who scores goals especially when required... he brings the flash of brilliance to his team but Messi, on the other hand, is an excellent player who supports his team based on passes, assists, play make, goals and going by this Messi is better. It will shock u to know that messi has a better goal ratio to him. If we argue based on consistency, messi is better and has been the topic every year since 2005. He's the most consistent player and if you want to argue about it, let me know. Messi is not on the same level with Ronaldo if we look at it critically. it was a media scam all along.

But go to YouTube and check any video of great players comparing both of them...u can watch a compilation and u will see the best people( and more percentage of them)in football saying it's Messi. He is actually the only one who hasn't won the world cup that is in the argument of the best ever. The other two in the argument are also from south America (not Europe) viz Pele and Maradona.
