All town union executives are on the alert. Once Fulani camps in any forest in your community you raise an alarm and the vigilante swings into action. In most cases they don't even bother the police and other security outfits cause they see them as compromised. Miyetti Allah knew Governors can not control the communities as a result of the Igbo man republican culture. So they are dumbly requesting their own vigilante as a counter strategy. The request is dead on arrival. The south east is on red alert and nobody is bothered about Fulani threat.

Why do you think they always try to have commissioners of police in Southern Nigeria from northern states but not vice versa in the north especially in core Hausa states? This is the reason for it. Once you allow your enemy dictate the pace of your engagement, you're bound to lose. They want to have a standing army in SE ably supported by their brothers in Nigerian Army.
