I got about 56 snails 2 months to start practicing how it can be done using tyres.
To my surprise, I'm seeing something different from what I read here(nairaland) about the number of eggs produced per time. The highest number of eggs I have noticed at a time is14.

I presumed it might be the species.

i buy different sizes from guys dat picked from the bush cos they can't guarantee you the size.

The highest no. i have seen so far is seven(7), thou i av seen eggs severally and i av been able to hatch some and still expecting some to hatch.

Though mortality is close to zero since i have started and i have more than sixty (60) pieces now.

Please guys, what is the highest no. of eggs to expect from an archatina marginata snail ?

Because, i need to know if my snail are producing above average capacity.

Even as it is now, i don't which ones are producing eggs in my pen, may be the medium ones or the matured ones.

All i know i see either 5, 6 or 7 eggs.

Highest is eight but mostly 7
