I don’t know the size, I'll be visiting the area soon, also to ascertain Coscharies rice mill update

Peter Obi was a managed failure. His legacy of insecurity, rampant kidnapping, poorly constructed roads&buildings, non-functional hospitals, unmotivated civil service, backlogs of unpaid pension and promotion arrears and many more, despite oil hovering above 100 dollars through out his two terms and inflation at modest rate as at then, is a constant reminder of the mbadinuju years. Just that he had a popular party behind him to mitigate the fallouts. You saw how he struggled to win a second term. I still blame Victor umeh for not standing firm when it was decided to replace him with Emeka etiaba who would have done so much like his mother did in just 3 months.
Peter Obi is nobody when compared to Obiano.
Obiano didn't struggle for his second term, Ndianambra gave him 21/21, because we believe in him.
Obi can go suck his balls for all we care, he said he'd retire from politics anytime he leaves APGA and what happened after he left? Even promising great Odumegeu Ojukwu but he betrayed him finally

Was watching the video expecting to see some pointers to the fact that Nnewi is the richest town in Igboland (which if we're to be honest isn't far from the truth), but nothing really captured my imagination. Could be because they didn't go into the interior, but just showcased the main road leading through the town...which would obviously be busy and look a bit rough.

That being said, i think cities and towns with high networth sons and daughters like Nnewi, Ozubulu, Abiriba, etc, should try and put in the effort to improve the ambience and aesthetics of their hometowns; more so, prominent towns like Nnewi that will be receiving many foreign visitors due to its commercial/industrial status.

Towns like Oguta have tried in this regard, as drone shots of the town show care was taken in designing the layout of newer parts of the town, with same-sized plots and most of the roads being tarred as well. Oguta just needs to plant trees on it's streets and it could easily pass for the best looking village in the entire country!

This is absolutely rubbish, there are so many villages in Anambra that Oguta cannot hold lamp for, one of them is ordinary Osumenyi. Osumenyi is a hidden treasure, the town is like London compare to Oguta. Here are some shots from Osumenyi, it is almost unbelievable that this is not GRA in highbrow area. Osumenyi is well planned with almost 100 tarred roads with street lights.

You are a dishonest g.oat that no sensible person should listen to. Your only and selfish reason of being here is to attack and denigrate Obi. It was Obi that brought Obiano and singlehandedly made him a governor. You and the other ffooll do not care about Anambra ,one bit. It was Obi that opened Anambra north thereby changed the life of our northern farmers. It was Obi that changed the misfortune of our secondary schools and that how Anambra was ahead of every other state in waec and post secondary exams.

You can keep writing nonsense all you care but Obi is an Omanbala legend!

We are not even sure you are from Anambra.

Tell us what town you hail from and write in your dialect. For instance, I can tell how Awka people sound when their dialect is written. I am from Umuoji in Idenmili north, Urumkpu precisely. You dont sound like onye Anambra because the only thing you do is attack and insult Obi.
It is ur brother because each time he attacks Enugu or Ebonyi state all of you will be clapping for him.

As for Peter Obi,he did a modest job and his works still speaks for him,he's the one who opens the eyes of ndi Anambra(after Ngige) in terms of rural development, health and mostly education.

Johnbull nwa Abakaleke why are you not living in your backward Ebonyi state?

Why are all Ebonyi state people running with their cartons of gala to Anambra state? Even all the beggars that were picked at Onitsha recently were all from your backward Ebonyi state.

When shall Ebonyi people start being considered as Igbos?

Most places in Ebonyi state doesn't have drinking water, access road, school, health facility etc.

Ebonyi for all that is worth is an hausa state. There's no difference between someone from say Taraba and someone from Ebonyi. Backwardness, poverty, disease etc, these are some of hallmarks of Ebonyi people.

Ifeanyi, i am less busy, come back lets continue cheesy

Wow, This Engineer Turns Plastic Wastes Into Fuel

Researchers estimate that since the 1950s, there are 8.3 billion metric tonnes of plastic produced, and 6.3 billion tonnes of them turn into wastes. This is a problem because plastic wastes contain hazardous chemicals which pose a threat to human health. What better way can scientists and engineers make use of these waste plastics? If you ask Satish Kumar, he would say that we should turn them into fuel.

Meet Kumar Kumar knows what he is talking about. He is a mechanical engineer from Hyderabad, the capital of southern India’s Telangana state, who claims that he was able to turn waste plastics into fuel in just three steps. “About 500 kg of non-recyclable plastic can produce 400 litres of fuel,” revealed Kumar. The engineering process that the 45-year-old developed is composed of three steps wherein the plastic is indirectly heated in vacuum conditions, de-polymerized, gasified and condensed. This is where the de-polymerization happens. Kumar calls this reverse engineering system as plastic pyrolysis, which is said to produce diesel, aviation fuel, and petrol.

The end-product is a fluid which resembles petrol but are not exactly the same. The barrels containing the final products: the red one is for diesel, blue for high-speed diesel, and black is for petrol.

The final products after the plastic pyrolysis.

Hydroxy Systems

“It’s a simple process which requires no water and doesn’t release waste water,” Kumar said. He runs a company called Hydroxy Systems Pvt Ltd., which is registered with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).

“Neither does [the process] pollute the air as the process happens in vacuum,” shared Kumar, assuring that combustion of the waste plastics is safe as it produces no sulphur and nitrate emissions. As of posting, the unit he developed has cleared 50 tonnes of plastic.

Production started in 2016.

Kumar pressing buttons on the control panel.

The plastics that Kumar uses come from non-government organizations or companies which have a lot of plastic wastes. It does not matter to Kumar’s technology that some plastics are being recycled only until about six cycles, because it accepts end-life plastic, which can’t be recycled further, in producing synthetic fuels. However, plastics like PVC and PET do not work with this process.

For now, local industries are benefiting from the synthetic fuel sold at about $0.63 to $0.78 per liter. Take for example a bakery which uses it for broiler purposes. There is so much potential in this fuel technology if everything that Kumar claims is proven to be true. Feasibility studies are now being undertaken to check if the synthetic fuel can be used in vehicles.
