FIFA pls be swift about it. Appropriate punishment should be meted. That was a very shambolic display...

Basically what they are looking into is how severe the punishment should be not even the ref performance. Agreed that Cameroon disgraced themselves. But what has it got to do with the whole of Africa? If an European team did that, they will only be referring to that country. Now an African team did it, the searchlight will be on the whole of Africa. Black do suffer for this world no be today.

It seemed like through the replays in the Cameroonian match, that VAR got the calls right. They where very close calls but they got it right. However against Nigeria VAR got the calls wrong and cheated us

I didn’t see the South Africa match but I heard they cheated South Africa. Even though VAR got the calls right in the Cameroon match, it’s very understandable why Cameroon will be upset. I mean var and the officiating have been robbing and cheating African throughout the tournament
So I completely understand where Cameroon is coming from. But still the Cameroonian players have got to keep their composure and be calm and peaceful.

That being said, I still feel VAR would have cheated Cameroon anyway. But they didn’t need to in this match because England was able to score legitimately

I believe the inconsistency in the officiating especially with the use of VAR has really contributed to those dramas we witnessed. This same VAR was used in the men's world cup last year and we didn't really see so much of these dramas. This whole scenario started from enforcement of the new rule that a goal keeper must hv at least one foot on the goal line. The reaction of the cameroonian players might be accumulation of decisions in their previous matches.

I'm so disappointed at the rate you belittle yourself, unless you ain't an African.
It's not an issue of belittling or whatsoever.. its about learning to tell ourselves the truth at times

I beg to differ. The proof is in the pudding. England are a much better team. I have watched england women's team grow to become a world class team while i have watch super falcons degrade from world beaters to this best third placed team. My very own black queens used to be assured a world cup slot...now nothing happens with them. The answer is simple. Attention. The teams that are growing have given attention to the women and now the old teams who didnt have to try so hard now have to sweat out a win. See U.S.A vrs Spain. And China being a hollow shell.

Its not belittling yourself, its calling a spade a spade. When you depend on players outside your country to win trophies for you, you end up with a piss poor team who cannot string passes to each other because they dont know each other's play style. Meanwhile the teams you play against are the ones training your so called superstars. Forever you shall be beneath them. Unless you train your superstars your self. Develop your football and you will see he glory of african futball shine through. This is only truth, nothing more. Between these two teams, England was clearly the better team. There was no way cameroun who struggled in group stages could beat them.

Most of your songs screeam AFRICA AFRICA. even your ladies are refered to as AFRICAN GIRLS. Most of our nationals claim, we are africans. I agree this is stupid, but its an image we have made for ourselves, africans are communal.

Fifa says it is "currently looking into" Cameroon's behaviour during their World Cup last-16 defeat by England.

It comes after an African football chief said it "reflected badly on African football".

England's 3-0 victory on Sunday was marred by Cameroon's reaction to two video assistant referee decisions and poor challenges on England's players.

A Fifa spokesperson told BBC Sport: "further updates will be provided in due course".

Earlier on Monday, Isha Johansen, chair of the Confederation of African Football's women's football committee, said she wanted an investigation to be opened.

Johansen, who is also the president of the Sierra Leone Football Association, told BBC Sport it was an "embarrassing situation".

In a statement, she said: "Whilst remaining proud of our African teams that participated in the Fifa Women's World Cup, yesterday's match between England and Cameroon reflected badly, not only on African women's football but African football on the whole.

"It is an issue which will be addressed and dealt with at the appropriate levels of governance."

There was an on-pitch protest by Cameroon's players after England's second goal, scored by Ellen White, was awarded by VAR.

Cameroon were also visibly upset when, with the score at 2-0, Ajara Nchout's goal was ruled out for offside by VAR.

They were fortunate to finish the game with 11 players on the pitch after Yvonne Leuko was booked for an apparent elbow on England winger Nikita Parris, Augustine Ejangue spat on Toni Duggan and Alexandra Takounda was shown a yellow card for a late challenge on captain Steph Houghton in stoppage time.

Johansen told BBC Sport: "Clearly when something happens like what happened yesterday, the disappointment that we saw on the pitch, we as Africans felt for Cameroon as a family, as one.

"We take the collective blame, but at the same time, without sounding like we are condoning what happened, I think it's all about now actually understanding why it happened.

"These are the issues that I think CAF has got to address and will address, clearly so we can avoid the same mistakes happening."

Speaking after the match, England boss Phil Neville said he was "ashamed" by Cameroon's behaviour, adding it "didn't feel like football".

But Cameroon coach Alain Djeumfa blamed the referee in his post-match news conference, saying the match was a "miscarriage of justice".

The bolded should be African football thief. This moronic dingbat is one of the reasons Africans are taken for fools. These type of ignorant Africans who drool over the idiotic Nobel Prize and Rhode scholarship.

Fruadulent FIFA, any team that cant buy their stadium tickets are strategically eliminated through VAR. they want to quickly gag cameroon so they wont spoil their business for them, because africans are unpredictable.

They awarded two penalties just to make US win Spain with 2-1 after Spanish Women showed US who the boss-ladies really were

Imagine , an asinine african calling another african a monkey, smh, d continent is backward because of witless pple like u.

2 of d cameroonians could ve been sent off, u didn't see that, right. Usa was awarded 2 penalties against spain, guess they wanted usa to win right. VAR has been harsh on victims.

No one is victimising anyone, it is just a mentality u ve refused to outgrow, germany, england players are better than nigeria, cameroon players, not because they are talented than we are, but because they ve d fund and facilities to prepare better. Accept that and stop ranting.
That is exactly what I'm saying, u dare not try nonsense with U.S.A.
