Must've been the basis for the Su 47 which I thought was a clean sheet design.

Yes

Forward swept wings r very good , but very difficult to implement . Cost is a huge factor due to the costly super alloys involved. Stress and strain on forward swept wings is multiple times more than in other wing configurations. If special alloys r not used the wings will come off even in normal maneuvers. Those exotic alloys r more expensive than gold due to low scale production.

The reason why no operational forward swept wing fighters exists.

Astra MK3 range ~250+ km ( estimated / speculation )
Solid fuel ducted ramjet propulsion

Pic 2/4 wind tunnel model / aerodynamic modelling of Astra mk2 , the 4 th one seems to be Astra mk2, while the former i believe is Akash NG . Not sure as of now.

Wind tunnel model of a DRDO unidentified missile with lattice fins. Lattice fins r generally used where high AoA and high maneuverability is required.

It is air launched , but whether air to air or air to ground is unknown , though the latter is more plausible given the visible width to length ratio. Not sure though

One of the difference when compared with the IAF mig 29 upg is the presence of the self protection jammer on the right vertical tail ( small rectangular box )

lionel4power:

It is a passive exoskeleton , similar is used in some industrial works.

It's simple as it redistributes the load on the body

The machine gunner is the one wearing it , as far as I can tell
