A facebook user named MARTINS AMOBI'GOD has taken to his facebook timeline to call Goal.com and Bleacher Soccer Report racists for not making a single post about the African Cup of Nations on their facebook page.

This AFCON has been a borefest. 0-0 and 1-0 scorelines everywhere with anywhere-belle-face style of football.

What is there to talk about?.

CAF really messed up by taking this AFCON to Egypt. You can imagine the low turn out in yesterday’s match between Ghana and Cameroon. A star match for that matter and stadium is as empty as a graveyard.

Btw, OP you’re the Facebook user.

Is it that they don't like football in that country or what ? Since the competition started, I've never seen a filled to capacity stadium

Even after the first round of games, I lost interest. Goals galore do not necessarily make an exciting game, but the spark is just not there.
Afcon of the 2000's was the real deal.

Egyptians love football. Record africam champions, plus their league is well organised too. Just that Egypt is not as peaceful as it used to be.They have serious political problems.

That's not an excuse, the stadium is always filled to the brim when they play.
