It occurred at Mile 2 Diobu Port Harcourt along Ojoto street by Obi street. The deceased officers were escorting money from a brewery depot to the bank when they were intercepted by the armed robbers

The officers were escorting some money belonging to a private company, when they were ambushed at Ojoto street, between Timber and Obi junction, Mile 2, Diobu.

The gunmen made away with the money and guns belonging to the deceased officers.
