NLC is only after their pocket. If they were truely after the welfare of Nigerians, they would have shut down this country since before the election.
WHAT KIND OF SENSELESS COMMENT IS YOURS? WHAT DID EXPECT THEM TO BE AFTER BEFORE? ARE THEY NOT FIGHTING FOR THERE WAGES?

The union are not sincere. They should fight for equal employment for every Nigerian graduate on the street.

When this is achieved, they can now be talking of #30,000 minimum wage.

Everyone deserves the good life.

Exactly. That would have been more effective than this rant. As for now, RUGA... is the only thing on Buhari's mind.

At the moment, the number one problem of this country is Muhammadu Buhari....why can't he be as passionate about worker's wages as he is about his mischievous Ruga?

How much is the money that the government is unwilling to fulfill their bargain? We don't want to know how much they spend daily because it will make the minimum wage look like a grain of sand in an ocean.

Integrity is when a man's word is his bond. This is why we always tell zombies that Buhari is nothing but a liar and terrorist.

And before any zombie blames state governments for non-implementation, please ask yourself why the FG is yet to start the implementation on its own part.

It took Buhari's government three good years to arrive at a minimum wage for Nigerian workers, and almost three months after enacting the minimum wage, his government is still setting up a committee to discuss implementation. Little wonder he's been declared the winner in online polls as NIGERIA's worst president ever. He even scored nearly 70% of the votes cast for him, GEJ, OBJ and Yar'adua.

Lastly, can any zombie recall how long it took GEJ's government to arrive at a minimum wage and even start the implementation?
if you are not a xtian, I would have think you are saying the truth...............

Pls pls and pls , if u want to protest, pls protest like Hong Kong, don't just go to street, take the fight to their domain.
Legislative building, govt houses, and shutdown work all over.
Buy helmet and gas mask.
The people in Hong Kong know their rights and what they want, Nigerians are still confused and don't know what they want

Lies and deceit always.

Make i summarise.

Minimum wage increased to ~N~ 30,000 from 18,000, which is 66.66% increase.

So salaries for officers on Grade Levels 01-17 should be adjusted accordingly.

But the Government argued that such increase across board would raise the total wage bill too high.

Then Labour reviewed its demand downward and eventually settled for 30% increase for officers on Grade Levels 07-14 and 25% for those on Grade Levels 15-17.

The Government said it can only pay 9.5% for employees on Grade Levels 07-14 and 5% for those on Grade Levels 15-17.

A committee was then set up by govt. to negotiate further with labour.

Labour insisted on 30% and 25%,

Govt. Committee said they can't go beyond what the government proposed which 9.5% and 5%.

So we are back to square one.

No minimum wage anytime soon.
Any time they resolve, my. arrears is increasing.

NLC should go and sit down. There is no money to pay that. The economy is in shambles. You don't give yourself a pay rise when your earnings are down.
