Even my secondary school defender back in d days will never commit this kind of Football blunder....

you think its easy to get a shirt to a national team.all this half cast kids are taken as second class citzen in their country.They also suffer racism,go and find out.the competion is very thick and unless they are exceptionally talented will they get called to a national team.so when nigeria gives them a chance,its a rare opportunity ,to play at the world cup and also a nation cup.make ,i tell you now,if u have an halfcaste child,he is regarded as a nigerian even thou he has a foreign passport.in school,when they ask the children where they come from,they are expected to say the country of the father.even sometime,they indicate it on some foreign passport.

I'm still wondering how many professionals do a 'square-play' all the way from where John Ogu passed that ball to the 18. He had the ball and other players closer to pin the darn ball on, not Leon who was nowhere near. He deserves a share of the blame - hell the bigger chunk.

Peronally till today i blame John Ogu the most. If you watch the clip again you'll notice he had better options than passing all the way back to Leon, two players close to him forward, a player at his direction and free space to lunch the ball forward: he was totally free not marked. I know Leon flopped too but it was not any way wise for the long back pass.

You guys should leave Leon alone, our Oyibo wall, he has been a defense to break. We should not crucify him because of John Ogu's wrong passing decision.

We still appreciate our Sports Heros and are ready to forgive and instead choose to remember the OVERWHELMING good moments he as a Player has brought to the Nation..

We FORGIVE HIM and we love him like that..

Like he said,he's human and he can make mistakes..

Seems to me your Prime and Proper Country has a lot to learn on being appreciative of Heros that have served them well..

Balogun has been playing very well for the National Team till that mistake,or do you care to point out any other Match he gave less than the best ?

He made a mistake,ONE mistake since he has been playing for the Nation in about 35 matches and all of a sudden he is garbage?
