Good day all

Please I've someone (Uncle) who works with an agency, he wants to loan me 2-3m for me to start up life, but I must pay back the money in 1year.

The problem now is I don't know the kind of business to start with 2m that can grow faster that I will be able to pay back the money, I'm thinking of doing working visa to outside country to go and work (I'm not a graduate) I've been so confused like I don't even know what to do again, because this opportunity came by sudden to me last week after I told him I want to do something for my life but I don't have capital to start

Please I need suggestions is it good to start business here in Nigeria?

Should I travel out to work if yes which country please

I'm in my early twenties please and remember any suggestion you will make, remember I've to pay back the money on 12months

That decision you took to have your kids in Nigeria WHEN you COULD have them abroad is a foolish decision you will regret eventually

Why don't you give them the citizenship and let your kids repudiate it later in life

20 years from Now, your kids may read this and swear for you

There is NO BASIS for your empty pride
You are from a third world failed $hithole country led by a cattle rearer, and because you have some change in your pocket does not change that

cheesy cheesy

just look at what this man has done to his kids *smh*
Another misguided quitter. During the 1700s, Americans were under colonial rule by Great Britain. The British Royal Navy had conquered 3/4th of the world's land and were the greatest military ever formed on this planet ( yes even greater than the Roman empire and ottoman empire). Fighting against the British Royal Navy with untrained and poorly funded troops was almost suicidal, but in 1775 Americans waged war for their independence. They would rather sacrifice thousands of life at the chance of freedom than remain colonised forever.

In 1917, America joined World War I even though this was mostly Europe's war, America realized that staying neutral only meant that the Germans may have unchecked power and dominance and sooner or later they might threaten the north American continent.

In 1941, America joined the 2nd World War after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor in Hawai. This was by far America's bloodiest war. Teens as young as 17 were drafted against their will to fight because they realized, if the Germans, Japanese or Italians succeed in defeating Alied forces, nobody will be free. The Axis forces would've occupied America and who really knows what atrocities would've been metted on them.

This is only a brief synopsis of America's history of dying for their country in hopes of making it great. There are no guarantees of victory, but without these sacrifices, America might have remained colonised until the 1960s, afterwhich they could've just been another 3rd world country. But today, it is the greatest country on the face of the planet.

So you are very foolish and short sighted to give up on your home country. You are also very foolish to think you or your children cannot make it in Nigeria. I truly feel bad for your extreme pessimism and I hope you don't pass it on to your offspring.

Nobody welcomes their child into the world via a Nigerian hospital anymore. Trump should close this loophole, if you give birth in the U.S, that's great but no automatic citizenship. Your child must wait until the age of 21 to apply for citizenship and only if he or she has lived and schooled in the U.S for a combination of 18yrs without any criminal infractions. Our politicians, celebrities and regular Nigerians have exploited this loophole for far too long yet they are first to criticize America and support Russia. I refuse to join the band wagon, I had the opportunity to give birth to my kids in the U.S but gladly refused; they are Nigerians by birth and they will make this country great.
But shey them dey there Oga?!
You didn't say whether they're here or not o!

I Know all these history lessons you are giving me

it has nothing to do wity the topic

Denying your kids that passport when you could have given them is a move your kids will hate you for

It's a country under the shackles of ignorance, barbarism, hate and short sightedness you think you, and the small pool of sensible people in Nigeria can just changehuh

You are oblivious of the power dynamics in Nigeria

ill educate you more when I'm done with my task at hand

They are not being denied any passport. Even as a Nigerian you can get a greencard today if you have $250k to invest in America. In adulthood, if they choose to further their education overseas, there's an opportunity to do so. My parents made it in Nigeria without formal education and toured the world on vacations. I'm making it in Nigeria. If my children decide to make it overseas, that's for them to decide and chart their own path. Moreover, who's to say that America will remain a super power in the entirety of their lifetime? You have given up on Nigeria and that's terrible.

I suggest you go into transport business.
In Enugu here, Keke napep seem to be the main source of transport after bus..

With that 3 million, you can get 3 or 4 Keke and put it up for hire purchase... You will get back your capital in the first 12 months..

Depending on your environment, you can make a survey and know the means of transport that is welcomed in your city.

I wish to go into this business though but lack funds.
Lucky you man... Goodluck

You're a true hero bro. It's heartwarming knowing people of like minds still exist. I broke up with an ex because of this ish. Said she had to give birth to the kids in the states, I asked her why and she spilled out the usual rhetoric.. to foster a good future on them, opportunities, blabla... I told her point blank if my being their father is not enough to equip them with the wherewithal to make it in life then they're bastards. But of course she's free to go have hers there but definitely not mine. Guy if you're based in Abuja or anytime you come around please holla. All drinks on me.

when you have the majority of the citizens in Africa, especially Nigeria as destructive, barbaric, illiterate, holding on to repugnant cultural mentality and practices and hateful /short sighted

You really think the small pool of us who are in the upper and lower middle class, who have been exposed and all that can fix Nigeria?

It's unfixable in such circumstances
so they have to go to where sensible people reside and dominate

Let me educate you

there are three classes of people in Nigeria

1) The political elite and the captains of industries and their cronies etc
these people profit massively from the state of Nigeria via crony capitalism, rent seeking, outright stealing and corruptions (the political class) etc
hence they will rather be based on NiggerArea because there is nowhere in the west crony capitalism or rent seeking they benefit from at that magnitude is practiced
Value addition for wealth is the way in the west.
unfortunately, most of them are not capable of that.

they are content with the status quo, and given their kids dual citizenship and put them in positions to replace them

2) The small pool of upper middle class folks like us, who have gotten an education, skills, exposure and all, who want to change the country because it's painful to see the level of foolishness going on in Nigeria in comparison to where we have visited or schooled
we have enough for ourselves and we also have surplus for some travles and other luxuries
tho not too much
this is the group of Nigerians who are in the position to change Nigeria, and really want to change Nigeria, but they really can't because of the third group below

3)The vast majority of poor, wretched, uneducated, barbaric, religious zealots, etc

this group of people are at the bottom, forms the majority of Nigeria, are indeed terrible people in their mentality and how they do things, they lack innovation, highly uneducated, ignorance and superstition runs rife in this level, and short sightedness (present gain for future damage) is the order of the day
They form majority of the voters who will vote wrong candidates in exchange for a pittance, burst pipelines, be thugs to politicians, and the list is endless

And this this the worst part, everytunw group 2 tries to make positive change, group one manipulated group three to sabotage the efforts of group 2 (this is especially so in the North)
And the group 3, being willing tools for their own self destruction are ever ready for that, in exchange for a pittance, or even as simple as being manipulated by religion or tribalism
That is why Nigeria is currently doomed

group 1 will make sure group 3 scuttle every attempt of group 2 (some peoole ib group 1 are sympathetic to the cause of group 2 tho)

That is why group 2 are flocking to Canada
That is why they are having their kids in the U.S.
That is why they are opening shell accounts in Europe Europe hustling to buy properties and green cards where they can...

Because when NiggerArea finally implodes

group 1 will fly out

the non deluded group 2 will also fly out
while group 3 destroy and kill each other (see foolishness)

my parents run thriving businesses in Nigeria
so I'm not talking because I'm from a "poor" home

by Nigerian standards, they made it.
I never said I can't maje it in Nigeria

but what is the use of "making it" in Nigeria when so many around you are poor, miserable, destitute and are looking for the slightest chance to get at you for making it,

My parents can't even travel to the other side of Nigeria where we come from because of the fear of herdsmen and kidnappers

Making it is not the issue
irs what you face after making it that will stress you

tens of thousands of Nigerians doing express entry are NOT Stupid.
They made it in Nigeria because if you did not, you won't have $20k to see the process through from.start to finish
