Amnesty International made a tweet recently calling on the Nigerian Police to investigate Senator Elisha Abbo representing Adamawa North for attacking a female staff of an adult shop he patronizes in Abuja. The woman he abused has been confirmed to be a nursing mother.

The Human Rights group wrote in their tweet "the video of the senator assaulting women is widely available for police to act on.''

The video shows how Senator Elisha Abbo came in with two ladies and when one of them vomited in the shop, he got into a brawl with the shop owner and after one of the female staff tried intervening he slapped her consecutively.

This is another assault and cruelty against women with live and incontrovertible evidence. I'm expecting them to mobilise and start a protest at the National Assembly complex. I particularly call on Bukola Dakolo to lead the protest and show support as it has been shown to her.

Our jobless yeyebrities and over concerned citizens won't march the streets for this one. They are too ignorant to realize that their protest can influence political decisions. They speak up for one of their own, but will not act when it concerns the ordinary masses. And when their kidney starts bloating, they start rubbing their account number in our faces.
