Get an electrician to open it up and check. But usually they are 7ahr 12v lead acid battery. Any regular battery seller can help u confirm also

Loll... You can modify it, and use a car battery for it. It will last very long with a suitable charger too.

Binatone blows fine..... But i haven't ever used mine with battery. I use an inverter and run it directly.

This is soo not true.

I use a Qasa 18" rechargeable fan. I bought it in October last year and it still works perfectly fine. The battery still lasts an average of 5hours on highest control.

I recently moved to a mini-flat and i didnt even bother buying ceiling fans because the fan serves me very well. I just have to move it about from the room to the parlour.
