Gov. Akeredolu inaugurates 25 new appointees
The Governor of Ondo state, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu inaugurated five commissioners, two special advisers and eighteen chairmen of local government interim management committee today at the Dome.
The list of the new appointees are as follows:
Commissioners Designated are:
1) Hon. Fatai Olotu
2) Mrs. Titi Adeyemi
3) Mr. Temitayo Oluwatuyi
4) Mrs. Yetunde Adeyanju
5) Akindotun Olubunmi Owanikin Esq.
Special Adviser Designated are:
1) Hon. Babatunde Kolawole
2) Hon. Oyebo Aladetan.
Chairman of Local Government Interim Management Committee Designated:
1) Mrs Asimi Abiodun Omojola - Akoko North East
2) Elder Ayodele Akande - Akoko North West
3) Mr Yomi Babatunde - Akoko south East
4) Mr Fasesin Ubidapo Oladapo - Akoko south West
5) Mr Bankole Ogbesetoro - Akure North
6) Mr Michael Gbenga Olaniyi - Akure South
7) Mr Ojo Omolewa - ESE Ondo

Addressing the newly appointed officers, the Governor expressed that the people of Ondo state appreciates service when it is well done that is why they have been chosen by the people for service.
The chief of staff, Olugbenga Ale, The Head of service, Mr Aragbaiye and Chairman of APC in Ondo state, Engr. Ade Adetimehin and royal fathers were present at the inauguration ceremony.
Responding to the Governor, one of the caretaker chairman, Mr Alex Oladimeji expressed his excitement on the new portfolio and thanked the Governor for levelling Oke Alabojuto. In another response by one of the commissioner designate, Mrs. Yetunde Adeyanju assured the governor that the newly elected officers shall do their utmost best in carrying out their duties.

Akeredolu Swears - In New Commissioners, Special Advisers, LG Caretaker Bosses

Ondo State governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has sworn - in newly appointed Commissioners and Special Advisers.

The Governor also administered the oath of office on Caretaker Committee Chairmen for the eighteen Local Government Council of the state.

The Commissioners and the local government caretaker Chairmen were sworn - in after they have been duly screened and ratified by the state house of assembly.

The Commissioners include : Mrs Yetunde Adeyanju, Mrs Titilayo Adeyemi, Hon Temitayo Tukana Oluwatuyi, Rt Hon Olotu Fatai and Akindotun Olubunmi Owanikin Esq.

The new Special Advisers are : Hon. Kolawole Babatunde and Hon Oyebo Aladetan .

The Governor congratulated all the newly appointed persons for being selected out of the multitude of equally qualified citizens who are willing to serve diligently.

Arakunrin Akeredolu said his administration has convinced the people of the State of his determination to always make them the centre of his decisions at all times.

He charged the newly appointees, particularly the Caretaker Committee Chairmen of local government Council, to consolidate on the achievements of his administration and that of their predecessors.

The Governor said the present government has been consistent in the implementation of its programme of redemption.

He said : " We have not departed from the path of steady, deliberate and purposeful development since inception of this administration in February 2017. We remain committed towards realising the full potential of our policy document. "

Akeredolu said the main objective of his administration is to open the rural areas for development and community extension services.

"We have opened and upgraded roads through the Rural Access and Mobility Programme (RAMP). We are constructing 1 Km Asphalt Overlay roads in each of the 18 Local Governments

"Public schools in all the LGAs in the State are being renovated massively. Over 700 of such have received attention from this government

"Our people now have more access to potable water and the assurance of inclusion in the activities of the government."Akeredolu said.
