Watching the match, I won't say the officiating is poor. However, Firmino's goal should have not happened as there was a valid VAR claim for Aguero in the box. I think VAR would still not have given that as a penalty though.

The other penalty claims were really soft from my perspective and the referee simply let a lot of things slide since he knew Brazil and Argentina are notorious for play acting.

Overall, I think a more correct score will be 1 - 0. Even with no questionable decisions, there was no way Argentina was getting a win there. . . They were not clinical enough.
