Some students from Electrical, mechanical and Agric. and Bioresource Engineering under the university mechatronic research group, constructed the first Nigerian made Electric Vehicle. The vehicle was presented to the automotive council of Nigeria, the old and new VCs of the school and some other dignitaries. The vehicle was named (Lion Ozumba 551) after the former VC Prof. Chukwuma Ozumba, whose passion for innovative technology was without comparison upon being in medical field. 2 Likes
