Mike is totally different. He has an opinion, never afraid to speak his mind but isn't necessarily controversial.
I love Mike and the game he's playing so far.
I remember the conversation Mike had with Jacky about her being young and making up excuses for her boyfriend.
Jacky with the strong opinion, listened to Mike. The housemates seem to respect him. I strongly doubt Tacha, Kaffi and Jacky would talk to Mike the way they did Jeff concerning the Group leader fight.

As times goes on he should be able to speak his mind more freely, although Mike is just being clever, he is aware that he has not really earned their respect the way he would have wanted. He knows people are just intimidated by his class and status and nothing more.

I know a lot of us have been decked and choke slammed in the name of discipline, have been taught to look at our peers as competition, rather than companions, but the fact is, there are actually families, no matter how miniscule, that teach their kids what love for our fellow humans is.

I will admit, even I, get suspicious of people who exude warmth and are generally, nice to everybody, but these people exist.
