Ghanaian Songstress and RuffTown Records signee, Wendy Shay, has lost her Youth Employment Agency (YEA) ambassadorial role.

Following a massive backlash from the public about a picture she posted on her social media page, the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) New Act, got a lot of media attention.

Wendy Shay posted a picture of herself and the Former President of the Republic of Ghana, H. E John Agyekum Kuffuor, which according to how the picture was taken got so many people talking.

Even though she rendered an unqualified apology after the drama, the YEA did not consider her as a proper role model and a good figure for their course, thus stripping her off her ambassadorial role.

However, it has not been well proven if the award-winning artiste lost this role as a result of the brouhaha or as a result of any other thing.

The YEA recently released a statement, listing their ambassadors – which Wendy Shay was early exempted.
