You people really don’t read and it’s so sad. You just want to be spoon fed. The answer to this question is literally on the same page in which you asked it.

As long as your current employer can verify your employment if he gets called by CIC, there’s really no need for all that explanation to CIC. You have 5 years work experience under your belt, you could decide to not work anymore till you land Canada and you’ll still be fine.

Hello Guys,

Have a little concern, I am 5th of March AOR and my application will be 6 months by 5th September.
I intend resigning from my office by the end of this month July, decision was made because my employer is aware of my application for canada PR and he has already hired my replacement to handover.
I also want to take the remaining time prior to my application approval to start preparing for my NCA licensing exam in canada being in a regulated profession.

My question: Is it ok for me to resign before getting PPR, I hope it wont affect my application.
I intend raising a CSE to inform CIC immediately i resign with explanations.
And I already have over 5 years of working experience which makes me eligible Pre ITA and Post AOR.

thanks.

Good morning everyone
I wish everyone speedy process
I just have a serious question to ask

Presently I am on 460 ( married, siblings point, masters ECA and ielts without my husband ECA and ielts). He wasn’t supposed to write ielts until the 470 draw saga started so he wrote July 6ths and results won’t be out till 19th...his ECA isn’t out yet too and the best time that I can get the remaining part of Pof is most likely September ending.
Every other document is ready except Pof , medical, PCC , spouse ECA and Ielts
Is it better to decline ITA if I even get ITA hopefully tomorrow so that we can wait till next ITA prolly when all his other documents are ready or Withdraw Application and start again when other documents are ready....

You can decline the ITA till he has all the document..seeing your score you will likely still get the ITA again. It happened to me though..declined first and got it again.

I know it's a long shot, but does anyone by chance know anyone in FUTA (exams and records) that can help with my transcript delivery to ICES ? I've done every necessary thing on my part(including payment), since last week that they(FUTA) already verified my application, they've been processing it ever since(they already have the email too)

Maybe I am missing something. What is the right procedure if you have foreign master degree? Do I forget about sending my Nigeria bachelor degree to WES? or I need t include both master and bachelor for evaluation?

Just like me..its just your foreign master degree that matters. Have your foreign school send the transcript to WES..and apply with the degree certificate of your master's.Then you should be fine.

2. Some "0" NOCs (0122, 0621) have "trainee" as part of possible job titles even though part of "0" employment requirements is "several years of experience". 1 NOC B (1312) also has.
Please as i was reading through the thread i noticed that someone wrote the above and i have confirmed it on the site with the noc codes, under 0122 it says among other things: "
Several years of experience within the industry, including supervisory experience, are required."

Please i think my Noc is 0122, job title was "senior investment trainee" and I have just two years experience on this job. I was hoping to add this to my one year nysc teaching experience to make three. Would this effect me since i obviously don't have several years of experience in noc 0122. Should i be looking for another noc?

Copied. Just thought I should share

Understanding “Review Required”

A lot of applicants see “review required” in their GCMS notes for eligibility. There are many theories floating around with regard to what “review required” means and if it is alarming.

Before I venture into explaining the significance, it is important to understand that each application goes through the following stages as per the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and the regulations (Canadian Immigration Law):

R10 – Completeness Check
Criminality
Medicals
A11.2 – eligibility
Security

Out of the above, the most important stage is eligibility. This is also the most time-consuming stage because your documents have to be verified, evaluated and assessed to ascertain that you meet the eligibility criteria for the program you have applied (FSW / CEC / FTW). To stream line this process and make it easier for an immigration officer (decision making authority), all applications are first evaluated by case analysts or program assistants. They review the documents and summarize it in the GCMS. If they have any concerns with any document or want the immigration officer to carefully look into a specific document, they will flag it as “review required.” It is the content of the note that is important here. If the review required is for a specific document, while the summary of the note says that an applicant has met the eligibility, or “ready to finalize” it simply means that while the applicant has met the eligibility criteria, but the specific document needs a careful examination form the officer before promoting (eligibility pass) by the officer.

However, if there are concerns, there will be a review required for the eligibility, and there will be no text to the effect “ready to finalize” or pass. The note will specifically state job duties do not match, or the employment cannot be verified, or the number of years of work experience claimed cannot be verified. This is where an application can land in muddy waters. But the final decision rests on the immigration officer. He may override the decision of the analyst / assistant or go with the analysis of the analyst / assistant.

Even in cases where the analyst / assistant is of the opinion that the applicant has met the eligibility, and there is no “review required,” the officer can replace it with his own opinion. Though rare, but it does happen. This is why the eligibility is only passed when an officer conclusively marks the eligibility as passed.

Finally, there is “review required” for PoF. This is the most common in many applications. This is because, the financial and banking practices of each country are different. Eg. Fixed deposits are know as Certificate of Deposit (CD) in the US. Similarly, treasury bonds, mutual funds, stocks, and many other investment vehicles are there. If your PoF anything other than a bank deposit, it is more likely that it will be marked as “review required.” Also, IRCC does not go by day to day fluctuations in FOREX. Instead, the Canadian federal government issued a quarterly conversion rate for all FOREX vis-a-via CAD. If your PoF is in a foreign currency, then you may have “review required” for the officer to make a determination.

Just because you have “review required” does not mean that you hit the panic mode. Instead, read the context in which it is there. If there is a concern regarding a document, you can send a replacement document via CSE. The most common reasons for RR are:

1. Work reference letter without job duties
2. Work reference letters missing all the details requested by IRCC
3. If you submitted a letter from a colleague because you were unable to get one from your employer, but did not have a LoE on file, this too will lead to RR.
4. Not sufficient work experience in the primary NOC.
5. Inability to verify your employment as your employer details are missing.

There are just some of the scenarios.

Aptly put

Hello My Canada family. Please does anyone help with a template of reference letter form one's office ?

Thank you. Also, do I have to get a letter from every office I have worked or just the resent one ?

Check page one....here is an extract. You need a reference from all your employers

See sample as asked. You can actually get samples off the internet. There is no fixed sample. Just a specified format from CIC/IRCC. If you had more than one duty in the company, list all of them and state the title, duties and period worked.

She isn’t changing employment. She is resigning and like I said if her reference can be verified it doesn’t matter whether or not she informs CIC. The employer will simply inform them that she recently left the organization’s employment but she actually has the 5years work experience stated. There is absolutely nothing wrong or problematic with that. Nobody has gotten refused because they didn’t inform CIC that they resigned. People get refused when the reference letters they submit cannot be verified.
It’s a choice to report anyway So whichever one helps the OP sleep better at night. . cc Deeshe1
Modified: now that I think of it, I didn’t even inform CIC that I resigned from my last job but guess who’s already in Canada working?

You can use your husband’s name if that’s what’s on your means of identification. There’s usually a place they ask for your maiden name if it’s different from your current name. Which body are you evaluating with? I’m no expert, this is from knowledge obtained while combing the internet
