Teachers, market women, pensioners, youths, religious leaders and other groups gathered at Ring Road, on Thursday to express their support for the Godwin Obaseki-led government.

Representatives of the various groups said the solidarity march was embarked upon to tell Nigerians how much impact the Obaseki administration has made in their lives.

They expressed thanks to the governor and his team for prioritising their wellbeing with the regular payment of workers' salaries, pension, revamp of public schools, health centres amongst other people-centric programmes and policies.

What some people are yet to understand is that the Binis will never bring themselves down by allowing Oshio who is from Iyamho to decide the fate of their own. Obaseki was wise enough to make an Esan man the speaker of Edo State. If APC fail to give him ticket they should be ready to say goodbye to Edo State because any party Obaseki decamp to will definitely win the election

You cannot separate party politics from godfather(s).

Obaseki please stop wasting our scarce resources to organize needless rallies. Renting crowd is no big deal in Nigeria politics.
Go and settle with your God father and let us have peace. When the both of you were" chopping " our money we were not there. Now that you guys have problem you're dragging us into the matter.
