Looks nice....but in reality...it must be pretty expensive... when compared to a building with the same floor space. What happens when the sun eats down?....a/c cannot afford to fail. Seems more practical in cool climates.

Have u heard of lagging before. The walls of the containers will be lagged to prevent heat from the outer body from getting to the inside of the container.

Moreover, I don't think it will be more expensive to use the containers for building compare with normal block building. Once u have a good architect dat can make good design and a good engineer that will do the construction work.
It will also be faster than normal block work.
Another advantage is in a situation, where the land is rented, you can still take your structures out at the expiration of the lease/rent.
Maintenance of the container house will be cheaper than that of a block house.
It will offer more better security than the normal block house.

This isnot new in Nigeria.... If u are familiar with the oil industries... Most offices are containers..... I recently did 2 for matrix energy limited. Mind you, they are more expensive than normal block buildings
