Cries About Insecurity In Nigeria Political – Buratai by bellachibaby(f): 7:02am On Jul 16, 2019
The Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai, has declared that insecurity has been tamed across the country by the Nigerian army.

He stated that “all these cries of insecurity which some groups and individuals are taking it as a political game, I think they should have a rethink because it is no longer the case.”

He spoke during a visit to the troops stationed at 1 Division Super Camp in Kuyello, Birnin Gwari in Kaduna on Monday.

He said that the efforts of the military in the northeast and northwest, as well as other parts of the country, had reduced insecurity in the country, NAN reports.

Buratai restated that both the banditry in the northwest and Boko Haram insurgency in the northeast have been tactically defeated.

He warned that those playing politics with the security situations in the country should desist, adding that the army would not hesitate to take action against them.

According to him, there has been no major attacks in the last two tp three weeks because of the new strategy.

”Apart from some isolated remote areas as a result of some other factors, the attacks have drastically reduced.

”That means we are winning and it is a great success which people should be assured.

”Insecurity has been tamed right now in the northeast and in the northwest and even in other areas we are doing so well.

”Our troops are deployed in support of the government, civil police and indeed the civil authorities,” he said.

In a saner clime, people like Buratai, an army chief who has lost more soldiers under his command to terrorists than any other army chief in the history of Nigeria, should have been sacked and sent to prison a long time ago. But this is what we have in Buhari's tribal government, rewarding failure with tenure renewals. All Buhari cares about is being called "Mr President".

Then everyone is free to protect himself since the government only sees the killings in Nigeria as fake news.

So these blood flowing everywhere is not enough to have court the sympathy of the CoAS? This is the highest disservice to humanity.

shocked Gush! WTF! Meaning Buratai has also been a "political" army chief.Any wonder this man was blaming the troops who have lost lives for the gross inability of the army under his watch and chronically lying APC-govt to stem the BH & other security challenges?

Just as the APC govt/Nigerian Army have shamelessly and repeatedly lied that "BH have been technically defeated"? (after politicizing the BH activities in 2014) and VP Osinbajo said that "kidnapping and killings in Nigeria is exaggerated"?

This government is filled with incredibly stupid and irresponsible people.Ekwensu pkpokwa gi okuu! angry

Really? How did you come about this your stats? I believe it was borne out of hatred for this government.

Only one who isn't slow upstairs and has watched factual footages from the fight, will know that the number of soldiers killed in Ihejerika's tenure alone is bigger than Minimah and Buratai combined. Even though the money meant to procure arms were being shared by Goodluck's people.

First he says the Army had suffered series of defeats with the war against BH being lost because of lack of commitment by soldiers (very thoughtless, indicting statement in the first place), then he says the bandits and BH have been tactically defeated so alarm over insecurity is political. Is this not madness manifest in the COAS of this geographical space? What is all this wahala?

Check those links up there and you would be shocked at the level of attacks the Nigerian military have suffered on a scale that has never been seen in the history of the country under Buratai and Buhari. Boko haram now take their fights to military doorstep, military bases themselves, place that were supposed to be sacred to criminals in the past... You that love this government so much, you would agree that insecurity in the country is at a rate that has never been seen before. Only a stupid a fellow with a brain that has been replaced with tissue-paper would even try to compare Ihejerika with Buratai.

I believe you haven't started using phone or rather a phone with Internet access between 2009 to 2015.

Even if you haven't, I believe you would have heard of Boko haram extending their fight to abuja (Nyanya, madalla) and other states like Kaduna where a sitting governor was ambushed.
How they killed their way through from borno to Mubi in adamawa
How caliphates were established here and there in northern states
How major military barracks were sacked often...

Go on youtube and you will exhaust yourself from videos of those times.
You will see the Mopol that got exploded with a bomb on live camera...

Incase you do not know, Chibok girls (276) were taken under your clueless role model

When trying to point out the flaws of this government, do not try to put it on the same scale as the previous useless government. Fight against terrorism is better now than before. Only a fool will think otherwise.

It is you who is ignorant of the reality of things now. "Fight against terrorism is better now than before" Go and tell this useless sentence to the people of the Northcentral states including Zamfara, Niger, Plateau, Nasarawa, Kogi that have been marauded, killed and maimed by fulani herdsmen which your god buhari has been protecting because he considers those terrorists as his brothers. The fulani herdsmen have now taken their criminality to other regions of the country including the Southwest and Southeast.
This is the link to when the convoy of Zamfara state governor was attacked https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/333140-bandits-attack-governors-convoy.html . This is when Buhari's state governor cried about the state being under siege https://punchng.com/katsina-state-under-siege-gov-masari-cries-out/ . This is when Borno state governor went to weep before Buhari in aso rock about boko haram in borno state that you said have been defeated https://punchng.com/boko-haram-shettima-visits-buhari-in-aso-rock-weeps/ . So many instances but go and read the news and educate yourself. Need I remind remind you that Biuhari's own state of Katsina is not even safe again, even his village Daura? Now, how can any sane human being still compare security situation between now and Jonathan's time? Only an ignorant idiot who want to remain in perpetual self-deceit would say otherwise.

Fulani killing has been there as far back as Obasanjo's time, but because your sill wailers need to something to nag about, then you decided to politicize it.

Unpatriotic lots like you are the real enemies of this country, not really the people in power. It is a pity. Boot lickers like you, instead of you to speak truth to any Governor or President, you prefer to wallow in foolishness, do you people fear man than God? I have posted a lot of links here to press the fact that insecurity has worsened under your oracle buhari but you prefer to lick his boot and pretend! Which obvious have you pointed out? You didn't even show any links to your self-deceit. It is a fact that from Obasanjo to Jonathan times, the major security challenge was just boko haram in the northeast. It is a fact that today, there is boko haram, fulani herdsmen, bandits, kidnappers all over the country. It is a fact that today, farmers can no longer go to their farms. It is a fact that United States and UK have told their citizens in Nigeria not to tavel to over 20 states. It is also a fact that a village head who is said to be a relative of buhari in Daura was kidnapped. Someone who has chosen to live in perpetual foolishness, no matter the facts you place before them, their foolishness would not allow them reason.
