Nintendo has announced an upgraded version of the original Nintendo Switch model with improved battery life.
The battery life of the original model lasted between 2.5 to 6.5 hours and when playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild it lasted three hours. The new model has a battery life between 3.5 to 9 hours and will last 5.5 hours while playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
