God bless you for this. Egypt with their Salah did not get here, Ivory Coast with their Saha n co did not cross the quarter finals. Ghana, Morocco name them, but we still blame the team. Some are even calling for the Return of Siasia or Oliseh.

Someone on Twitter said Rohr is a German Ladan Bosso.

And at last, the deal was sealed, third isn't bad as a position, I will still reiterate that luck and grace exist..
Super eagles luck is never with the dark green Jersey.. Lolz.. grin

It weakens their mind, their sense of coordination, and their legs become heavier to shot.. I hereby move a motion for a redesign of our away jersey...something brighter maybe...

Uzoho is better as our first goalie than other chickens.. Iheanacho better than dogo Paul..and many lessons learnt as we draw the curtain of a bit achievement.. Good night super eagles...Bronze winner Afcon 2019. cheesy

My take in this tournament,

- Ighalo remain our main striker proper.

- Musa's "unselfishness" is not really needed, his final ball are poor.

- Iwobi needs to work hard if he definitely need the no10 jersey.

- Mikel remain Nigeria's most decorated player.

- Chukwueze should remain resilient at villareal. He should play for passion now, the juicy money bag will definitely come for him

- The coaching crew shouldn't stop in there quest for better keeper. This IT students we are parading are below average.

- Midfield pair of Etebo and Ndidi are the best even at the overall tournament.

- It's not all bad Super Eagles having the bronze.

- The team definitely have potentials for greatness

God bless NIGERIA!
mikel? what of Kanu?

I dey my house jeje. I didn't bother watching their terrible play. It seems from NL comments, SE didn't live up to expectations still. I'm tired of the team. For morethan 20yrs, no solution has worked.

If that 1994 spirit was still there, by now, we should be among the best 10teams in the world.

In fact, I don't want to talk of SE again for now.

My overall assessment of the team; super eagles did well by points, but, they did badly in terms of game play, everything been equal, they have my thumbs up. For the coach, will he stay or be shown the exit door, lets wait and watch as things unfolds.
Pinnick has assured that the coach i no only staying, but will be sponsored by the FA for a refreshal course with Bayern. munich. I am beginning to suspect Amaju is sharing Rohr's salary with him.

Our super eagles has more of players who play without brains (the bane of African football). Using just strength and foot-work is not just enough. Ighalo, iwobi, ndidi and ekong were they ones applying brains for us the remaining players na banza!. You can't do much with 4 out of 11. Senegal has like 6 out of 11 and Algeria has like 9 out of 11. Most importantly you need at least 3 tournament winning players out of the 11 brainys for you to compete for the cup. We had non. Senegal 1, Algeria 1. Super eagles will always under achieve until we fix this problem.

Nigeria have not been able to replace Jay Jay Okocha, we lack a playmaker and the team is seriously crying out for one .

Chubhie:

Iwobi looks lost in that #10 position. I would rather play him as a deep sitting playmaker that's if he has eyes for long accurate passes. That two defensive shield of Etebo and Ndidi adds nothing offensively.

Spot on about Ndidi and Etebo.

One of them should be given freedom to roam forward occasionally.

We are too predictable going forward and we lack numbers in the final third.

What's essence of paying useless Rohr #2Billion per annum when could have used the same money to assemble a crack team of the best coaches and support staff in the country and really move our boys forward?
enslavedcourse because we African are so mentally enslaved and brainwashed by the white man, no body here is courageous enough to call for Rohr's head, together with Pinnick's.

What a coach ! Went to a 24 Tournament with only one number 10( playmaker). Westehof had Okocha ,mutiu and Oliha. Bonfree Jo had Oruma and Okocha in France 98. Only Iwobi run around extremely tired ..
lol you are correct.

point of correction, not just playmaker but creative playmaker.

Algeria team 4 or 5 of this kind of player.

my perspective of this game is that both teams were exhausted, low in morale and motivation. due to the fact that there was really nothing at stake as both have been out of contention for the cup. grin

I wanted Osimhen to play.. But watching him again this night, I think we have another Iheanacho.. He isn't spectacular.

I'm still finding it extremely hard to comprehend the fact that the pages of this thread is not up to 30 yet.
Failure is indeed an orphan grin
E be like this oo when it's 3rd place match this guys are playing just imagine if they had not made it out of the group. At least they are playing for something. I tell you Egypt would trade anything to play this 3rd place matchgrin How many of us even gave them a chance against Cameroon. Madagascar beat them and some self made professional coaches on NL were like 'I talk am this boys no go go far' then they proved you guys wrong by beating Cameroon and I know when Cameroon was leading 2:1 they were shouting didn't I say it 'My grandmother sabi play ball pass this current SE players' then they whipped your asses by coming from behind to book a place in the quarter finals and yet once more they sharpened their mouths even more 'They don escape Cameroon let me see how they will escape SA' others were busy shouting ' This is the end of the road' yet another set were screaming 'Na die we dey ooo' yen yen yen then this boys defied all odds and showed a fighting spirit by dumping the xeno Kings out of the tournament and then most of them started having faith in the SE and start shouting upandan it's coming home and then this boys played a more tactical and disciplined side that needed it more than we do maybe they played with the mindset of 'Is it not Algeria again We've been beating them naa they are our wife' and that night a divorce took place thanks to an own goal and a late minute winner two circumstances you can't prevent in football. My heart bled that night not because they lost but because the Desert foxes chopped off the wing of the Eagle and used him for barbeque. They taught our boys the basics of football it was like Man city playing a community grammar school. If to say our boys played well and lost under the unlucky circumstance of an own goal and a late minute goal I won't have been pained much. All of a sudden those professional coaches on SM came out of their hiding shouting ' We said it' My friend will you shut up before I beckon the Joint Task force of Amadioha and Shongu on you that's exactly how you said it against Cameroon and SA they disappointed you so STFU and drink sniper. A tournament of 24 teams they played their way to becoming 1 of the last 4 standing. Remember the host nation and the defending champions don commot ooo .Even if they lost the 3rd place match they have tried considering the fact that they didn't go with a GK and a tactically sound coach who can't make changes. In fact they surprised me considering how disorganized the team was before the start of the AFCON.

They shouldn't right? For reasons best known to u. When last did we get to this level? Have we even been qualifying for? Late Stephen Keshi won AFCON for us and yet he was sacked.

What do we really want sef? He should win world cup

Free the coach jor. If Cameroon had gotten to this level they wouldnt have sacked their coach.

The coach has surpassed our expectations weather we like it or not....

Only your own expectations, not Nigerians'
