What about those with awaiting result, will they be on the same level playing field in terms of admission into competitive courses, I mean will they be considered, considering exam results for neco may not be out by time admission precess commences?.

The portal isn't going to be opened again (the chances of reopening is less than 5%). If it was going to be extended, then they would have extended it other than closing the portal. They must be satisfied with those that applied already. Hence, the reason they sticked to what was advertised.
