Wroclaw as a city itself has a rich medical tradition. Its very first hospital was founded in the 13th century. Medicine was first introduced and taught in 1745 with the establishment of the Collegium Medico-Chirurgicum. This was the first medical school in the city. Several popular doctors lived and worked in Wroclaw such as Alois Alzheimer - neurologist and psychiatrist, who talked about his findings regarding degeneration of the brain cortex (Alzheimer's disease), Robert Koch - the one who created modern bacteriology (Nobel Prize in 1905), Paul Erlich - the one who pioneered modern chemotherapy (Nobel Prize in 1908).

Can someone's earning over there pay the fees?

I doubt
It’s free if you study in polish but to around 4.8M Naira as a working student really sounds tough or impossible
