Former Governor of Abia State and Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu was a special guest at a reception of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV reports that the grand reception, which held yesterday at Eko Hotels & Suites, Lagos, was in honour of the immediate past Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and wife, Mrs Judith.

NIMASA is a federal government agency currently headed by Mr. Dakuku Peterside, an ally of the former minister.

Joined by Sen. Kalu, were Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El Rufai, Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki, Plateau State Governor, Hon. Simon Lalong and Kebbi State Governor, Alhaji Atiku Bagudu.

Others were NIMASA’s DG, Dakuku Peterside, APGA guber candidate in Abia, Alex Otti, Nigerian millionaire, Tunde Folawiyo and Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Senator Olorunfemi Mammora.

A one-time APC guber candidate in Rivers, Tonye Cole, and founder of Zenith Bank, Jim Ovia, were also in attendance at the reception monitored by Igbere TV correspondents.
