Most Nigerians were first assaulted by their parents. A lot of Nigerian parents physically, verbally and emotionally abuse their children so that child grows up with a lot of anger issues which they display to the world....

They grow up thinking it’s okay to be verbally abusive, it’s okay to hit a woman, it’s okay to fight first and dialogue later, it’s okay abuse their own and other people’s children.

Flogging your child is not discipline. Even if you must flog, it must not be anywhere but on the buttocks or the palm and it should only be done when such child does something really wrong and true child must understand why he’s being punished.

Never ever ever ever punish your child in the heat of the moment. Cool down and let it go and I guarantee you wouldn’t even want to flog the child anymore.
