There have been laws, prohibitions and pronouncements FORBIDING these Contanerised Trucks from traveling in day time but as usual with Nigeria, the LAW BREAKERS are just ABOVE THE LAW.

Even a Presidential directive that the dormer IGP move to Borno State was DISOBEYED and NOTHING HAPPENED.

Country of lawlessness, especially by the RICH and CONNECTED.

Early this morning, a containerized truck fell as it descended from the Iponri bridge, inward Alaka, Surulere.

The fallen truck caused a huge backlog of vehicular traffic, as it significantly blocked access on the affected lane on the bridge.

The hardworking personnel of LASTMA and the traffic arm of the Nigeria Police were on ground to manage the traffic situation.

At the time of going to press, heavy-lifting equipment of the LASEMA Response Unit (LRU) were being still being expected, in order to recover the fallen truck from the scene.
