To be honest? While I may probably know the country capitals and the regions they are in? I will not be able to get their exact locations on a map.
I just know Italy is shaped like a knee length boot on the map of Europe, Chile is that loooong curve in SAmerica, and the shape of Nigeria obviously, but that’s about all I can get on a world maps -three countries (and I love, and made an A in Geography)
I had a good education I guess, but my sense of bearing is poor
So forgive the housemates
Or give them pass marks if at least they know that Seychelles is on the East (Indian)Coast
Or that Northern African countries have large areas
Or that Cape Verde is on the West (Atlantic) Coast

Some people because they have the map at their disposal will do worse when given the opportunity to do this task. If given the task to put states of Nigeria on it's map, watch how they will put Lagos inside Borno, Kano inside Anambra, etc.

Though, I am disappointed with the HMs. Even Benin Republic, some don't know where it is located. It shows the level of Education in this country is at bottleneck. We can set aside those whom are abroad based to an extent though.
