They rank universities twice yearly January and July.

Whether 1st in Nigeria or not, No Nigerian University is among the top 1000 in the world.

Hmmm...Be careful this ranking issue is quite sensitive if you are not sure don't post anything about it.

The current edition is still January 2019.

The current edition is not January. They have a July ranking in the Beta form visible to all. The link was om front page few days ago. If the main version is released and UI tops then..
But there is a July ranking that has been released to the world pending the final determination
