There was a fracas today in Wukari, Taraba state Nigeria, over the killing of 2 People of the Tiv native.

Reports says that 2 people were allegedly kidnapped and killed yesterday, which led to students of The Federal University Wukari, embarking on a protest as early as 6am, which later turned violent as guns were fired into the air, and the school was forced to shutdown and students advised to leave the hostels or the school will be forced to make them leave.

Not too long, a truck came in to vacate only the Tiv students of the institution as others were left to their fate, the school has closed down indefinitely.

It will be recalled that there have been incessant clashes between the Tivs, Jukuns and the Fulanis in state.

Nice when are other federal universities going on there own mid-semester break

I swear naija don cast ghan.. I sure say na Fulani killers kill those tiv people.. But wait, how can two more communities be living a life of fighting dat they don't want to make peace.. Let's say the truth, we have situations like this on mostly every state. Where a particular war is tag the ancient war.. Come to calabar.. Two communities fighting themselves like its a norm.. A coliq of mine had to resign from work just because he was called upon to join his kinsmen that the enemy communities have strikes again.. And this guys will be so happy to go and die.. Hmmm tufiakwa..now look at what they innocents are facing..

Not until the ward of an elite is caught up in the fracas, nothing will be done to nip the festering crisis in the bud. Moreover, their children rarely attend public universities.

We also had mid-semester break back then in the university. Not new at all.

we camped in this school during our NYSC orientation some 9 years back, but cant remember any of these views.
